Mac Allister might genuinely be the most underrated player in world football right now. He makes EVERYONE around him better, he is such a smooth, versatile, efficient and subtle player. When Caicedo at Bournemouth, Enzo in the Argentine National Side and Wataru Endo last season for Liverpool had Mac Allister along side them playing as part of a double pivot ALL of them looked AMAZING. Think about how Caicedo & Enzo look at Chelsea now... Liverpool were top of the league with 8 games to go last season with an Endo/Mac double pivot and a rash of injuries and they even managed to win a Cup Trophy. And now this season a 22 y/o Gravenberch playing a position he's never played before, in the world's toughest league and in the Champion's League has Mac Allister next to him and he looks like a world beater. These aren't coincidences. Yes. Mac Allister over Partey any and every day. Go look at the FBREF Stats between Mac & Partey, night and day difference. Mac is quietly world class.
I mean it helps that Liverpool already have a settled team. With a consistent back 4.

It's actually painful reading the drivel you lot write out. Liverpool has played 6 mid teams, Arsenal have played City, Spurs and Villa away. Conceded 2 of their 5 with 10 men on the field, and Raya has made 2 worldie saves this season. Overall, yeah, Alisson is obviously better, its not even close. This season, Raya has been better, but you'd need to actually watch games and have common sense to come to the correct conclusion, which you obviously don't.

It’s year 1 for Slot but it’s not year 1 for this team, Klopp spent the last few seasons building this team and Slot has just continued it and arguably improved it, but it’s built from the foundations Klopp left.
Liverpool challenged with the same squad last year and fell off due to injuries and fatigue at the end of the season. With a less intense play style theres a chabce they hold out till the end. Certainly not favourites at all
Big myth that. They were in decent form during their injuries. Ironically as soon as their players returned it all fell apart thanks to diaz and nunez.
I think he means that loads of players end up being overplayed because of all the injuries (which they somehow managed to weather quite well at the time)...so then the team was burnt out by the end of the season and couldn't finish strong enough to win the league. The injuries led to team burnt out and the ultimate fall off from challenging.

Liverpool have been in the making for a number of years too. Sure, new manager but the core of the squad have been there for 3-4 seasons but his style is a tweak from Klopps.
They need a couple in January and they have to be lucky with injuries, but they will be in it to February and then we will see how he handles the fatigue, pressure and games.

Liverpool's depth is actually really good. Elliot and Jones are very good players. Arsenal have Partey and Jorginho who are already in their 30s. Trent can also play midfield and Bradley comes in at RB. There are so many options. Endo does not suit Slot's style but he's not a bad player.
Liverpool don't concede much, it always gives you a chance. Our squad is good and now diaz is firing. Depends how slott rotates tho, he hasn't done so yet.

Surprised to see so much support from these fellas after 6 games. The reason Liverpool fans aren't jumping to conclusions is because this is exactly what happened last year. At the start of the season no one expected us to go for the title (rightly so) but because we got so close, people claimed we'd blown our chance with 4 games to go. We were never going to win it!!
Same as this season - we don't have the squad depth to win the league and we know that. We have an insane schedule after the International Break, and if we start to drop some points people will forget this title challengers talk even happened.
