Hey Vash .. well I might not a right person to comment on this as there must be students group from both universities on FB who might guide you better..
from my standpoint .. Cardiff is affordable for students ...Luton is not bad too and you will find lot of Asians here ..about I am certain you should be able to land one in both the cities .there are so many online opportunities as well to wfh for
