I bought that Spartan's Den beard oil based off of your recommendation in a previous video and LOVE IT. It smells amazing and the bottle (oil delivery pump thing) is unlike any other beard oil I have had, really nice and at the very least, less than half the cost of most other beard oils. Great video here too bro!

Nice tips. I think everyone has a slightly custom routine. I think it also depends on the type of beard you have. Mine is very dense and curly, so out of the shower I usually do 5-6 drops of oil first. And really rub it in and get it in close to the skin, then do a wide comb, thin comb, brush. After the oil is spread evenly, I add the matching balm, (about a dime size) and only coat the outside with the balm. I don't rub it down all the way in. Slightly different than yours but effective for me. Also, I only use beard wash 2-3 times a week to keep the natural oils in the beard. I use a beard softener/conditioner in the shower daily (co-wash). Cheers.

Thanks for the video, I’m only about 2 months into my beard growing Journey, but I want to start taking care of it from early stages. There are so many different products out there so it can get very overwhelming to find what you actually need. Can you suggest on some care taking route for someone who is only few months in? As well as advice on whether to trim or just let it go completely? A lot of different videos out there.
    Thanks. Love the channel!

You've got some awesome tips my friend, I've been watching your channel for a week now. I'll share my daily routine with you, when I get out of the shower, I'll dry my beard with my towel with it still being a little damp. Then I blow dry it on low heat while working my comb through my beard, after that I use beard oil, then beard balm to lock in the moisture of the beard oil and then I comb everything through.

What tips and trick do you have for grooming and products everything you did during that scruff-to-full beard I mean full obviously not the full goal to where we are grooming and styling but I really I'm looking for the juuust past the solid start like that month scruff where you got to keep it clean and presentable as well.

No need for you to do anything different. It's working for you and on point. I have some subtle differences myself and I make sure I put the beard oil on in the morning after I shower. This way the beard is still warm and moist and you can lock in more of the oils. Then about 10 minutes later I'll apply the beard balm to actually keep some flyaways in place. I cowash for about 4 days and on the 5th day I usually use a beard wash (Mountaineer). Thanks for all the videos. By the way: Epic beard!

How do you guys deal with curly beards? I've had mine for about 4 months now. It's coming off the face fairly nicely, but the underbeard tends to curl right back under. Whenever I try to comb the beard, the comb just gets stuck and usually yanks out a few hairs. I realized that this will destroy my beard in the long run, so I got a brush which tends to do a good job but also strips off some hairs. Anyways, the point I'm trying to make is that there's no way for me to get my beard hair to the point where every hair is loose on it's own and you can guide your fingertips or brush through it with ease like @BeardTube does. I use beard oil and balm twice a day and wash my beard with water only. I guess I might have to look into a heated beard straightener for that. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Is there a reason why you prefer to only use balm most days?
I'm on my third or fourth "larger" beard (been growing it all Winter for the past few years), but letting it continue into Summer this year.
On previous beards, I only used oil. This year, I started using balm with the oil when the beard is extra fluffy and doesn't want to lay down as well. I always use the oil first and then add balm if needed.
Just curious if you've found that balm alone works better for your beard. While mine is shorter than yours, it seems like our hairs have similar properties. Other than that, we seem to have pretty much the same routine.
Do you wash it every day? I stick to 1 or 2 times a week with beard wash and condition every time I shower. I usually shower at night though, so I do a "bird bath" in the bathroom sink in the morning to just get my beard and hair wet with hot/warm water and fluff it back out after a night of sleeping on it.

Yea for my beard, the balm holds it much better, almost like a styling product, and the great thing about balm is it lasts longer. Yea I only wash it 1-2 times a week at the most. We have very similair routines!!

I guess I was under the impression that the oil is better for conditioning and the balm is better for hold. Same basic ingredients though except for the beeswax/etc that make the balm hold. I think I'm gonna have to try going with JUST balm sometime and see if it's better than just oil. Thanks for the inspiration. Haha

If a product lathers up too much its not cleaning properly...the lather prevents cleaning and is a sign it contains harmful ingredients.
Some beard oils are better than others luster and silage wise.. check out beard brand... also use jojoba oil- 6-7 drops and then put one drop of your premium beard oil and mix it up with hands and put it in your beard- makes the premium beard oil last longer as they are expensive. i got the longer beard so blow dry and somes times straighten hairs out with a flat iron- low heat and very careful. switching up combs is always good... i use a combination of combs and i never through them around lol

Is it prudent to wash one’s beard everyday? I’ve heard it’s good to go every other day, thoughts?
