Reading & Northern 2102: The Autumn Anthracite Explorer

Every October, Reading & Northern Railroad fires up one of their steam locomotives to run some of their fall foliage trips from Reading to Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania. During these trips the 2102 would be tasked with hauling its train up the steep grades of the anthracite region putting on a great show for everyone. Now please sit back, relax, and enjoy this production by The Pennsylvania Railfan, “The Autumn Anthracite Explorer.”

where did that whistle sound at 18:03 come from. i know 2102 has just it's freight hooter and reading 6 chime passenger whistle for the most part. but where did one at 18:03 come from? awesome video btw man. very awesome

I think that there was an air whistle in the cab of 2102 that day but I’m not sure.

i thought maybe some one had an air whistle on their car or truck that at that crossing maybe. it really caught me off guard but still sounded great at the same time.
