- A Hat in Time is one of a hundred indie games that’s been praised to high heaven, and it’s easily one of my all-time favorite indie games. Though as great as it is, it isn’t devoid of issues. So let’s go through this charming little game and praise the good while lashing the bad.

Late to the part but to answer said question, it's a nice change of pace. Went on a little longer than I liked but that's a personal problem and doesn't take away the nice chance of pace

This is probably one of my favorite video games. The DLCs are definitely worth the price and offer so much extra content. The death wishes are pretty fun but some of them can just go to hell for all I care. If anyone hasn’t played this game yet, please go do so.
I like how even if the conductor wins, he still has one loss
A Hat in Time is one of those games that’s packed with charm. You can tell the developers put a lot of care and attention into making that game. It’s definitely one of my favorite 3D platformers.
Plus it’s pretty good as a platinum hunt
No insanely difficult achievements, no necessary second playthrough and nothing locked behind the post game
It was definitely a fun one and I was able to get everything before the final boss
Loved the Sin/Win video! But a bit of constructive criticism ( no offense intended). Some your Sins are the exact things you would get mad at Charriii if he did this game. Still love this video!
Well, I don’t disagree with everything in his videos. He makes good points every now and then.
its always fun watching sin videos that also have a positive counter next to it. helps to look out for good stuff along with the bad.
I also like how he leans more towards positives in his videos.
I gave mustache girl the time piece for pretty much the same reason you did. She deserves to get her home back
I love this game, it really reminds me of many charming platforming games I've played on the ps1 when I was around 4. I even got every death 111 death wish stamp (although I did use the eace and tranquility option for "Breaching the Contract"). Thank you for making this amazing video Tony
So, I didn't noticed this detail I processed myself, I don't know if anyone else thinks that way too, but remember when I said about this being inspired on the 3d Mario games? (64, Sunshine and Galaxy)
But there's just something else in this to me. It looks like a fusion of these things I just mentioned plus Toon Link from Wind Waker. And I love it. I really love it. +1 win of mine for this game.

okay first of all: i had ZERO clue this game had voice acting, and it seems to have a fun plot too. i might wanna try this game out
second, the way you formatted this video was unexpected but very cool. i always liked the idea of an EWW parody showing a counter for good aspects alongside the sin counter. i feel like more EWW parody series could be like this as it helps showcase the game in multiple different ways, both good AND bad. im being 100% honest when i say ik looking forward to seeing you cover other games in this way
This is a really good video, having both the Win and Sin counters at the same time makes this one seem quite unique IMO.

A hat in time is one of my favorite games ever made the art style is great, the ost is a banger seriously Your contract has expired is forever my favorite boss theme in gaming, the Bosses are solid, and the gameplay is enjoyable I love this game for what it is

Yeah, souls aren't exactly consistent between fictional series; they're not always portrayed as a metaphysical equivalent to a brain (for an example, the Simpsons episode where Bart sells his soul).
Don't forget that one Spongebob Squarepants episode, where the Flying Dutchman tried to steal Mr. Krabs' soul, but couldn't because his soul was already taken

Ooh. An Everything Right and Wrong With video. I haven't seen one of these since RemyRaccoon did his on games such as the Ratchet & Clank and Jak & Daxter games.

Yeah, I remember RemyRaccoon's ERAWW videos. Mostly the Spyro ones. I know they had to give up the series in 2020 but those videos still hold a good place in my memory.
I think I remember that guy, it was always nice they took viewer comments into consideration for adding and subtracting points.

There's something you kind of forgot to mention when you talked about the Battle of The Birds levels: A lot of people consider DJ Grooves to be the canonical boss fight since it's a lot easier to have DJ Grooves be the winner than The Conductor and The Conductor has DJ Grooves' hitbox. Plus, with the whole theme being making movies, having the jerk character (The Conductor) turn out to be a jerk with a heart of gold and the friendly mentor character (DJ Grooves) being the villain makes a much more interesting plot twist than Conductor being the villain.
Yeah, but Grooves’ storybook makes me hesitant to believe he could be a bad guy. He’s too nice.

That was a problem exclusive to that piece of footage. Other versions have him say it perfectly fine.

Yes there is. It only happens when you get DJ Grooves to win the Annual Bird Movie Award. He’s pretty much the exact same as the Conductor with some slight changes in his dialogue.

And while probably not a sin persay it bothers me we never really got that much of a climatic ending for for the Dead Bird Studio level considering how everything else the story set up for it was done perfectly in my honest opinion, like literally every other chapter besides maybe Mafia Town because of the bonus acts there all had a really satisfying ending even Alpine Skyline was done pretty well all things considered I don't know it's just something that bothers me way more then it probably should. Also this has bothered me since the launch of this game but as far as I know we never got confirmation on which Director canonically wins and betrays you in the game or if they were both planning this and the other Director just decided to help you just to screw over whoever has the timepiece this bothers me so much it's not even funny and it gets even more confusing if we talk about Killing Two Birds where they're both trying to kill you like I know this is probably is just a nitpick but I would have liked to know what is canon here. But anyway this was a great video and I anticipate what comes next.

Well, it would've been weird to suddenly cut to the finale with Mustache Girl after going through most of Death Wish.
