    One interesting thing about Shroud, he typically uses a sensitivity that equates to around 34cm for a 360 in any game, but when he played Overwatch for a while his sensitivity was around 26cm for a 360 because of how much turning around, verticality and general 360 aiming there is in that game. Some pro players in Overwatch use much, much lower sensitivity, but its interesting that the different scenarios and more varied aiming requirements of that game led to Shroud having a higher senitivity than usual in first person titles.

    Using multiple sensitivities, you can develop a good muscle feel and activate all those little muscles in your hand wrist, shoulders, arm, etc, for me I found 0.275 800dpi super good, writing down all the sensitivities you've used so make a list of pros and cons does help a lot.
    Once you get to master or even try out LOW sens like 0.197, mid sens 0.45-0,5, and high sens 0.6 800dpi, your comfortability will adjust according to the pros and cons you've seen with all of the sensitivities you've tried and liked or even hated.

      I wouldn't try to learn that from a video lol, just understand your ability and situation. More you play, better you will be at judging different scenarios. Ask yourself questions when you play, whats the best thing to do in this situation, and can I do it? Ex. Do I need to trade in order for my team to retake, or am I better off falling back and taking it with my team for a retake. The correct answer doesn't matter if you can't execute.

    • @AteszFlower
      @AteszFlower 5 років тому +13

      I was a global elite 2 years ago (stopped playing). All I can say is to be unpredictable. Do things, that looks not the best choice sometimes. If you are aggressive on ct side and manage to kill one, don't go further. Flash and run back. Enemy team has info, you don't have info and if they kill you, you don't achive anything. It's important to watch the radar what your teammates do. If one of them was agressive somewhere, you shouldn't be aggressive on that spot in 3-4 rounds. If you are ct and T-s are coming let them plant the bomb. You just try to do damage as much as possible without risking your life peeking and peeking again. If you can kill only one it's okay. When your teammates arraived, with grenades, you can literally solve the situation really easily if you have a solid team. One single flash can solve a lot of situation. I was lucky because long ago I had a solid team who play passively in Ct, but they could be agressive if they want, what was pretty useful sometimes and in T we literally played so aggressive that we didn't even buy grenades. Just walk and wait until the end of smokes, fires, walk more then run in in a matter of senconds and kill everybody. It was very-very efficient. Because of this style the cts tried to take a look at the entries, but we waited for it with awps. we had one lurker who did a pretty good job, but it was true for the whole team. I knew it was not a problem if I died, because the others would handle the situation. With a good team the game is not a fustration. It's like hmm it didn't work well, let's try an A push from palace. Teammate: OKAY LETS DO THIS GUYS WHOOOWW!!! We were in a really fucked up situation, but because of the morale we were always able to get back to the match. If the enemy is better, he is cheating. It's a basic relaxing tactic. Everybody knew he wasn't cheating but still. It killed the frustration and keep us cool and chill like there is nobody who can be better than us. ^^ So if you want to play aggressive, just be unpredictable. If you decide you will be aggressive, be stupid. In a tense match it works pretty well sometimes. Mostly it's not, but you have to do it, because the enemy team can't learn you if you do stupid things sometimes and because of this, they will feel frustration.

      With a game like warzone or apex or any fast paced game id say stick with what you know, if you feel like you are lacking somewhat then by all means try to slowly lower you dpi by 50 and sens by 0.5 or only dpi other vice versa, also you dont really have to follow the video or what anyone tells how to play as long as you are comfortable you will slowly get better and better because the video mentions that you wont be using the same body/hand pistioning which i believe if youre going pro youd need that otherwise you always at home with the same table/setup/settings you dont have to adjust anything on a daily basis, sooo yeah sorry for the long post but i felt i had to say it :) have fun man.
      EDIT: i just read that you didnt like arm aiming if you slowly lowered your sens/dpi you should automatically adjust to wrist aim as the crosshair slowly feels heavier you dont need to arm aim it so you dont fling it, anyway have fun

    I would just like to interject with something super important. Having raw aim is important and definitely something to strive to achieve, but the best thing you could ever do is couple it with movement. If you look at Scream back in the 1 tap days and even now, his aim is insane, but what takes it to a next level is his movement. A lot of his aim comes from keeping the mouse still and just moving his character to line up a shot and micro adjusting if slightly off.

    I struggle most with being able to stay in consistent positions. I don’t really know where to start, but I guess I’ll start with this. I’m not scared of leaving my comfort zone, but maybe I should’ve been. I played low sens with heavy arm movement (did this for nearly 5 months, but decided I’d try higher sensitivities. I went from 400 dpi to 800 dpi, and from 3.0 in game Apex legends sens, to 1.8. I eventually even played at 2.0 - 2.8. After giving it a try for about 3 months, I lowered my sens to 1.5 - 1.8 for csgo. Effectively, I took my muscle memory for a joy ride, which ended in a Horrific accident. I’m sticking to 1.8 sens, but I just can’t get comfortable at my desk at all, and its been nearly 2 months of fixing. Moral of the story I guess is too respect your muscle memory

    muscle memory for aim is a joke. ask anyone in yuki aim. the problem with the idea of having muscle memory for your aim is that muscle memory doesn’t kick in until you’ve repeated the exact same action well over 1000 times, and with aim you’re always making different movements to aim at targets.

    Everybody says to play on the lowest possible sens but still be able to comfortably do a 180, but people like Nate Gibson, NeoNinja, and TheGamingDefintion play on really high sensitivity, and have the craziest snaps, they pretty much have aimbot, especially neoninja

      I all depends on your preferences. My friend plays on really high sens and aims pretty well too. When you get used to it you probably aim like trash when choosing lower sens. That's why I never change my sens since I chose one.

    Hi Ron, I used to play old cs and css with high sens (2000 eCPI) and was not too bad (cal-im/m -ish) but I stopped playing for like 3 years and now I can't aim at all in csgo with high sens. I dropped to 800 eCPI and was godlike for like 3 days then completely trash and couldn't aim at all. then I changed to high sens again around 1300 eCPI and suddenly godlike for 3 days again then bad again. This terrible cycle would repeat and I don't know what to do. Should I stick with higher sens because that's what I used to use and used for a number of years? or should I just stick with a lower sens now? Can you please give some advice? Thanks. Also it's great to see a legend like you from the golden days here on youtube!

    I know my sens/area of sens I prefer, just a question if porting sens like from csgo to siege should I match the 360/cm or match it based on feel with the fov?

    • @rayzhang5551
      @rayzhang5551 5 років тому

      you should match the cm/360. that way you build muscle memory of how much you need to move your mouse to get the enemy in your crosshair

    • @sayneFPS
      @sayneFPS 5 років тому

      Ray Zhang ok , I just had a minor issue because in siege I play on a lower fov so the same cs sens of 400 and 2 in siege on the lower fov felt like 400 and like 2.2 almost in cs even though the 360cm was the same.

    I was wondering if you all think that I should try going lower than I am comfortable with, in an attempt to get used to it... for the sake of improving (especially, for making small adjustments, to get headshots).
    I've been used to playing, with over 2,100 eDPI, for a long while (I was around here in CS 1.6, playing well, then took 10 years away from games).
    I recently challenged myself with the task of going lower, and I am now more comfortable at the 800-1,200 range... and my optimal eDPI is somewhere around 880ish (still figuring this out). My mouse pad is 12" by 9". I feel like I could probably be a better player, with lower sensitivity. However, I'm not comfortable with much lower than 725 eDPI (as far as quickly flicking to targets, as well as bunny hoping/etc).
    My quick flick, on Valorant's practice (on medium difficulty, with armor, and using Vandal) is at about 25-55% success rate... with these 750-950 ish eDPI rates. If I go lower, I won't initially be at the same skill level; but then I might end up better, in the long run.
    What do you think?

    I am what you describe as a 'wristy" though I feel like I "have" to play on a high sensitivity. On Battlefield I play on 20% in game and 1600 DPI, which is a very fast sens, and my aim is pretty bad a lot of the time though sometimes I get some nice tracking and flicking going on. For some reason I mentally cant allow myself more room to move my mouse cause I feel like then its too slow. Any tips to try breaking this illusion or what ever you would call it? the first thing I will be trying is playing and adjusting my sens as I play.

    Hey. I apologize in advance for my English. A question. In cs go there is also the sensitivity of the zoom. By default, it costs 1. Does it go as a multiplier? (I have 400 2.2 (880edpi)). If the zoom is 1, then I also have 880 edpi or 400? And yes, raw input is just as interesting. How does he work? If it is turned on, then 400 dpi and 2.2 (880), and if it is turned off, is dpi, windows sens considered, and only then in-game sensitivity? 400 * 6 * 2 * 2? help me please
