The Wand Company is fantastic. You can tell they have a real love and knowledge of the source material. The original Phaser is also a gorgeous piece. Can't wait for the arrival of this!!
I have had mine on pre- order for many months now and understand it is finally being shipped in the middle of June (hopefully). You may want to re-edit this video for when you open the lid to include the classic "chirp" sound effect. Great job guys, cant wait for mine :)
use mine everyday! I keep it on my desk and connect my phone when I get home. Great way to take calls/ use the assistant but not gawp at a screen at the time. that and yeah.. i like hearing the "yes captain" soundbite
lets get to it i have just brought one and its absolutely out of this world the bluetooth response time is fantastic. rumors about the sound being low far from it its fine. it feels like quality made of metal worth every penny i spent it wont be gathering dust like a lot of my other props i will be using this a much as possible and when im not i will be dreaming about it (-; thank you so much for what i can only describe as a wanderful (-; product (-;
Mines has about a 1\4 of an inch play in the lid allowing it to flop a bit as well .... Other than that, and the fact that you are out of uniform ( Jeans and a Captains Tunic ?!) I am satisfied.
Now that it's out and I can see reviews, I admire it more. I can't afford it at present, but hope to soon. Please don't run out of them in the meantime. LLAP
Nice product video, wonderfully accurate replica, and the Bluetooth connectivity works wonderfully and at a good distance with my paired phone. Doesn’t hurt that I got it for 104.95 on sale.
Just got one a couple weeks ago...it's really nice but apparently the lid problem still exists. I thought it was normal but mine doesn't have the resilient action (stop) yours does. It really loose when opened. Also if it's closed and I face it downwards it opens about a quarter inch or so...is this normal?? Yours didn't seem to open when you did this...
When I got my new communicator, the box and manual were dogeared and I had to send my unit back for a bad battery. The replacement took a month to get to me and has issues with the right button. You need to do better with your reseller programs, and warranty service, Wand Company!

...also just opened it so it's not a wear or drop problem. It was like that out of the box....
