YOU ARE MY HERO. Every other video/blog post I've found was 1. outdated 2. incomplete in explaining the process needed to integrate the two sites. Turns out my issue was the plug in; you're the only one I found recommending this one and it worked immediately . So easy! Thanks you SO MUCH for this video.
Thanks a bunch for this. I wasted three hours on other websites this morning trying to figure it out. With your video, I had my sign-up form back up and running within minutes.
Thank you so much!! I followed exactly what you said..side by side when you were speaking, I would pause and then do exactly what you mentioned. It was perfect. Thank you again!!
Great job! This was the best tutorial I found on this subject and was really helpful. I like the sound of your voice and how you went right to the meat of the topic and helped me set up the forms fast. Please do more tutorials on WP or MC! I subscribed. You are a great teacher. Thank you.
Thank you SO much for such a very detailed and precise video on adding a MailChimp newsletter to your website!!!🙏 I just spent the past hour watching (and replaying it) so that I could add a newsletter on my website. Thankfully, I was able to DO IT by following you step by step, which is a testament to how helpful your video was; I don't consider myself a tech savvy person, which is likely why it took me some time to do it. Either way, I am VERY GRATEFUL for your detailed video!! I paid someone outside of the U.S. who I found on Fiverr to create my e-commerce website, and she used WordPress. Regrettably, it isn't a service offered by my web host GoDadday. Therefore, to receive tech support with WordPress, I would have to pay at least $50 each time I need tech support from a third party. This would get extremely expensive, esp. with multiple tech requests!! My web designer hasn't been timely with getting certain features on my website done, which I had requested upfront prior to her building the site. Lesson learned: Be Very careful when picking web designers, even when they have "good reviews!" Also, it's best to go with companies that are more popular where you live, so you can have direct tech support by calling them instead of depending on your web designer for help. This is something that I didn't think about would be a concern prior to picking my website. Currently, Wix and Shopify are very popular!! So I should have used one of them instead. I have had to figure out a lot of technical info myself, as I don't want to waste valuable time waiting on the web designer to do those things!! Thank goodness for your video and other knowledgeable UA-camrs who have given useful tech advice, so that I can update the features I want on my website!!! Keep up the wonderful work that you are doing!!!🙏⭐ As a side note: It's important to let people know that they need to type in the title of their newsletter when they paste it on the page they want; they want to write it above the "short cut code." Otherwise, only the form will appear on the page, without a title. At least this is what happened in my case.
first of all many many greetings to you: Many thanks for this great video and your channel🔥🎉🙏👍❤ Awesome to see your video - it helps the worldwide community: Appreciate all the efforts you put in to make this awesome tutorial. - keep up your great work - i look forward to see more. btw: - would love to see more vids covering WP 6.1
This was a really helpful video. Not too long. No fluff-n-stuff. You got right to what we need. I'd never heard of this plugin. I'm going to click through your link and check it out. Thanks!
This is fantastic- Thank you, John! I was going about it wrong in Mailchimp, trying to connect the domain via a Cname code(?) insead of using the API key. Thank you for making this setup so easy!
hi any idea how to disable double opt-in? i tried to disable it via settings on mailchimp list, it's already unchecked. but i still get email confirmation and recaptcha on my inbox
Great simple video thank you! How do I change the size or the format of the sign-op form? It takes up all the space from each side of my page right now, giving me a super wide "subscribe" button.
Super helpful. Was able to finally get this email signup form done. Did have issue that when testing my home address showed up in the subscription email received and not sure how to get rid of that.
Thank you for this tutorial, my mailing list is now set up. My question is: how does the list behave in its default state? I want it to notify subscribers of my new posts instantly, but I don't want it to send periodic emails. I haven't found a way to play with such settings.
Hi, thanks for the video. 2 questions.... will they be alerted when a new blog post is created, and 2nd, do they need to click to confirm? Can you bypass that so they just receive the emails? If you get many users who don’t confirm, they will never get emails. Thanks
This just saved me soooo much time, but the formatting is wonky? My First name is on the left side of the box making things look uneven even though my code is the same as yours. any thoughts?
Hi, thanks for your support. There are two issues missing in your plugin: a CAPTCHA tool to keep spam away, and the consent field for the EU GDPR (or other regional data protection laws). I have activated these in MailChimp. But the do not show in your sign-up form. Last point: How can I import my MC subscribers to WP / Memberpress and add s special subscriber status to them? Any advice on that? Best regards - Joachim
thanks....that was quite helpful. Question....once I have a list of people and want to create automated emails (ex/ a news letter) do you have a video showing how to create/set-up this transaction? thanks Lori
Is there a way to have the sign up form I created go to another email address. I am setting up a free CPR class sign up form and I want the emails to go directly to the instructor. Thank you.
I don't have an area in the footer to add widgets and when I paste the ID into a new block, I can see the name/Email section, but not the header saying "Sign up for our Newsletter"
nice and short tutorial, to the point. Is there anyway to use an existing signup form that is used for mailchimp for facebook to use it also for wordpress? Or do you always have to create from scratch the signup form?
