This was a great interview and I appreciate you asking him about the physics and mentioning Backbreaker. I’m glad to hear that Micah says he wants to get as close to those physics as possible. I’m a simple man all that dynasty stuff and presentation is cool but what I focus on is player movement and realistic looking tackles. I play football simulator a lot and yes tackles do get goofy sometimes but it’s the only game on the market with physics so with maximum dropping they’re both gonna be in rotation for me.
THANK YOU FOR THE SUPPORT BROTHER! SAME thats me too! Yes, thats a good rotation. Just know, Max's physics are at a basic level for now. This game is still super early.
@@GeddensGCyeah I had to make sure cause the videos he drops on Twitter the tackles look very animation based but I remember a dev update he did a while back that showed more physics based tackling so I had to make sure they were still keeping physics in mind. I don’t mind basic tackles now as long as they want to improve. We already let so much crap slide with that other football game, it’s only right I give maximum space to improve.
I like to think of them Taking the "FORTNITE" Road as in the Game will be one Application one Game. Them rolling out updates and mechanics Updates and just improving the game all on one App. Thats Golden in itself
Nice work Gedden. Hopefully maximum football is smart and they mainly work on gameplay and franchise mode. Franchise mode is the story mode of a football game.
Honestly true, me myself im gonna still give it a shot cuz i do want to see something different but ncaa will have lots of ppl playing just for nostalgia alone
I will support this game, I can’t wait until it comes out… I believe it’s a missed opportunity if Maxm FB 25 doesn’t release before NCAA FB 25. My biggest fear is that this game releases after NCAA FB 25 and people forget or won’t care about this game when it launches.
I think the big glaring mistake MaxFB is making, especially now, is focusing on college football. EA Sports College Football is coming now, and it will be crap, but it will be AAA and MaxFB is not in a place to compete with that just yet. It would've been better to focus on a pro level identity with history the way Midway did with Blitz: The League, that worked great for Midway. Or, do it as a start-up league. You can customize things, but having no meat behind it in terms of story has never worked for non-NFL licensed football games. Not even once.
Would be interested if high pointing the ball is factored into what's being talked about here 29:28 Because that itself is one of the points where the biggest plays happen. And the most exciting moments. And it's someone a lot of madden plays do/did when playing. Which was on lob passes to take control of the WR and high point the ball over a DB. Again WR IQ should heavily factor into that. And doing that at the right time but it is a huge part of the game especially in recent years. With the protections put on players in "indefeasible positions". Which is a whole thing to consider with rule sets. Since there is no one to protect in the game. And I put in a video talking about this subject down below. In text so youtube doesn't flag it or whatever. Video: When WRs Should High Point The Ball Channel: First Down Training
"One time purchase for dynasty and franchise" Doesn't that mean that Sony will force players to have a PS Plus subscription in order to play online ? (Don't know about Microsoft).
Micah says another open play test is planned in about two months. That tells us Early Access is more than two months away, probably 3 months or longer. Thanks Gedden for getting a rough around about time frame for EA, lol.
I think its safe to say people may need to dial back their expectations. Man guy asking about a in depth dynasty mode, 2k like story mode, commentary and Micah sounds like their still focusing on solid gameplay and the basics. We might really need to keep in mind its not 2k making a football game
Because he's doing long videos, there is a chance this game is not a scam and my come out. Still hold your breath though people. ESG is a complete scam though.
lol Long videos. There's been no money given to any company (ESG or Modus) by gamers... How can it be a scam if it doesn't come out? Max FB is playable. Testers have private builds right now lol.
Listening to this interview is what makes people like Ryan Moddy get on my damn nerves. The same ones who have no idea how hard game development is are still expecting a perfect simulation of real life when that type of tech is still probably 10 years away.
This is how indie games are being built from the ground up now a days. The game will be released on consoles when its ready. They know what they are doing. If the game is released first on consoles but its not on the level as console / casual fans & gamers are not used to, it would be nearly impossible to reverse that 1st impression. Games take YEARS to develop and are HELLA Expensive. Trust the Process.
He just answered my question finally old school lobbies will be in the game 🔥

I agree
Agreed
Thanks for asking about the simulation. Great interview 🔥

That's a great point and agree. Thank you for the support, much appreciated.
Y’all boys done waited to long. When cfb 25 comes out y’all will lose 80% of people that woulda gave it a shot

Finally had a chance to watch Interview. Great job.
Thanks fam! Appreciate the support!

Im ok with a gamepass on a F2P game.. most people hate paying $79 just to turn around n pay $24 SP

Thats a good question. I have no idea man. Those details are a long time from now.
Cam views a must, yeah yeah

Lmao ea doesn't care too much this game, for now.
@@GeddensGC I meant EA for Early Access
@@ADOS_DSGB lmao hahaha. That's my bad.
Seems we should be expecting Early Access around June - July.

I asked the questions the community wanted to ask. I know exactly where the game is. Thabk you for your support, I do appreciate it.

ESG is a scam. Joe Montana all over again. Lol.
Thanks for asking my question! Appreciate you.
I I hear the interviewer say sure 1 more time I’m going to scream!!!!!!
Hahaha
Good interview. Truthfully they need another year to work on the game but I suppose that additional year will be spent in Early Access which is fine.
Great point. I think when it gets to that point, the will be coming consoles, very soon after.
I am so FKN HYPED!
Wow, I love it
The QBs feet are a little weird during a throw animation. The front foot comes back.

awesome!
Thank you! Cheers!
When is this coming out
Releasing on PC first not smart! PS5 and Xbox Series X are better options! I love the comments on fast response gameplay.

What will dynasty be like college or Pro
its all in the interview. thanks for your support.
If early access goes well consoles shouldn't be long after imo
This interview killed any hope I had for a good football game. This game is doomed
