Min Heejin is also the reason of Youngseo leaving ILLIT evenbefore their debut because she leaked her private infos (she trained with NewJeans and was supposed to debut with them) to spread negativity around HYBE and also stole private marketing infos of HYBE. Lastly, MHJ wants ADOR to be independent while majority of their profits is due to HYBE's investments. Min Heejin is therefore doing anything to ruin ILLIT and HYBE and creating drama... If anybody watched RUNext which was the debut program for ILLIT - there was nothing NewJeans in it at all. But, when they debuted it was all NewJeans. I think the fans of NewJeans has the right to be pissed off. If I were team NewJeans - I would be pissed off. For that 20 vs 80 ownership, it's on the contract that HYBE granted Min HeeJin the total autonomy of the management and freedom in raising artists. Debuting as younger brothers/sisters of bts made me curious of them, enough to take interest and find out if i like their works. Why would HYBE not care about New Jeans? New Jeans is their group, no less than illit. They happily gave 20% to MHJ as a gift.

Tbh if newjeans had debuted from another label not related to bighit or hybe, I wouldn't care to know about them as quickly as i did. Same as txt and enhypen. Tough take but k-pop industry is so saturated, I don't care enough to sieve through millions of groups or artists to find a few that i would then like and follow their works. Debuting as younger brothers/sisters of bts made me curious of them, enough to take interest and find out if i like their works.
Bts was also selective of who they collab with, even for a short dance video that they made with fellow hybe label artists.
Now that the group has a solid superstar status and fanbase, she wants to ditch the parent company and be her own boss? If it's about difference in creative direction then at least i would understand but i feel hybe gave freedom to their artists for writing songs like they did with bts.

i genuinely worry for newjeans future cos the way i see it no matter which side newjeans stays in the end, they will be very much affected:
1. if the girls stayed with MHJ, HYBE as a conglomerate have the ability to basically to screw over any entertainer's career in Korea at this point.
2. if they stayed with HYBE might even overhaul newjeans whole aesthetic and concept to avoid competition within hybe since illit is bang's brainchild naturally they will be prioritized before newjeans. i just hope newjeans don't get the unwanted child treatment.

2. Hitman is a music producer, he is behind the production of illit music but not the management,illit were chosen and trained by their own ceo, belift r also the ones that worked on illit concept. Am sure with min heejin protest and tantrum belift did their best to not overlap with nj concept. Illit is more a gfriend X twice concept,fresh and bubbly, even the choice of their styling was cute princess. Hitman was never a cbo. He recruited a cbo in 2015 for bts to improve their image and concept....and changed completely their concept because of it. A cbo is in charge of branding. Each label under hybe has it own cbo. Both soumu and ador ceo were previously cbo.
