If this video includes any product links, they may be affiliate links. I participate in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program and Epidemic Sound Affiliate Program, which allows me to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to those sites. You pay the same price for the item, I get to share the things I enjoy, and I can earn money to support my site when you purchase! My thoughts and opinions are ALWAYS all my own!
You should seriously consider trying into professional voiceover work.
I have my eye on that new Canon RF 200-800, although I want to see reviews before I even think about pulling the trigger on it. Also love that AE-1 sitting there.
The cotton carrier works pretty OK, I used it rececntly on a model shoot in a semisketchy part of the city. I had to move the 2nd camera add on to the left hand side because it interfered with my .40 cal side arm. But it's sturdy, bad-ass looking and some people mistook it for body armor. I purchased it on Snap Chick's recommendation. Was not disappointed. A great gift for those who carry 2 or more cameras - with or without a side arm.
hmmmm wonder how that Cotton G3 would work in a photo pit....... I recently found out my 16 year old son is taking a photography class in school, I totally spaced on looking at KEH's website for a camera for him
All great stuff. All I could think about was the Christmas tree in the background. Where did you get that?
A geared tripod head is on my list. Ball heads are not making the grade for me anymore. Of course, SD cards are always welcome.
Lighting. I need more lights
The best gift is to not get them that God Damn Lens Mug.
I love em, give them to me
Just some SD cards for a sailing trip from Sooke to Maple Bay Vancouver Island Canada on the J34 Balderdash in March 2024 .Really looking forward to this .
Sounds like a wonderful sail. Have a most excellent and rewarding time. The photo opportunities there have got to be awesome.
@@AliasJimWirth Lucky one of my brother employee's owns a sail boat . Make friends with people that own boats,,,,,lots of vidio with good cameras .
Honestly, that big camera harness doesn't look that comfortable. It might be soft but doesn't it feel weird to carry that way. How about a sling instead?
It's really comfortable!
Hi to both of you, just bought sigma 18-50mm for Sony great lens, I’m hoping to get sigma 10-18mm . Thank you so much for your video.
Happy Thanksgiving from Toronto Canada.
Having pretty much the kit I want for what I do, I wouldn't mind the gift of travel, either a travel voucher or a plane ticket (I guess the same thing) somewhere. I mean I sat down and assessed what I like to shoot, and sort of got rid of gear that I no longer use (this was during the summer) and have really come to the conclusion that for what I shoot (landscapes and travel primariliy) I don't need a lot of stuff. And so when people do ask what I would like, I'm almost inclined to ask for gift cards -- not so much to stores, but even a "credit" for travel or something like that. I mean I'm sure there are lenses that I would like, but are probably not necessary, but I think that travel and photographic opportunities are among the best gifts to give or receive, because you can create some memorable photographs as a result, something that will stay with you the rest of your life. Gear comes and goes, and that's why I've personally take the stance on less gear, and more opportunities. This all being said, I do need a new travel tripod.... My main tripod weighs about 8 lbs with the ballhead (had it since I was shooting DSLRs years ago and never downsized) and my current travel tripod is in need of replacement ($200 CF tripod that has served me well over the past 7 years but is falling apart but has paid for itself over those 7 years -- just time for an upgrade as the tripod also has become less stable over the years from wear and tear).
i am getting a lowepro scope reizen 200 Aw , it is not a camera bag,
i think i put time on my wish list , so i can go out there and make some pictures
you to happy holidays
Those are expensive gifts, i'd just give friends some funny lens mugs or ugky Christmas strap
Thanks! I plan on getting Aura frames for the entire family so we can share photos.
Leigh, question on the Arua digital frame: Are the images stored in the frame itself, having built in memory, or must one be connected to the internet or a phone or something like that? I ask because even their site is not clear about this, at least that I am finding easily. Thank you, and Happy Thanksgiving to you and Raymond, and family.
The photos are stored in the cloud, with unlimited storage. :)
Many thanks for clarifying.@@LeighAndRaymond
