Simone is married to the keyboard player from Kamelot, Oliver Palotai. During Epica’s 10th anniversary concert, Retrospect in 2013, Simone was pregnant with their child.

You shouldn't be too surprised by the connection as Simone is married to Oliver the keyboard player of Kamelot. Epica, when they were first formed took their name from a Kamelot album.

Nowadays Kamelot's vocalist is Tommy Karevik but I prefer their first singer Roy Khan. I saw them twice in concert in the Netherlands some 17 years ago.
