The virus is great but when I look at your neutron videos you can get even fatter sounds. Only thing to add to the neutron is a good stereo reverb, most affordable one is the tc electronic hall of fame 2
How do you only have 844 subscribers? Your content is amazing! My set up is similar but I'm just a noob. I'd love to make Trance like this. It's unbelievably good :)
Hey Shah! Thanks a lot! I love to make live electronic jams in the trance and techno genres as you’ve seen ☺️ Curious about your setup and jams :) Do you also use the Akai MPC or Force as main sequencers?
@@Expectaz I use the MPC Live. I have a Virus B, E-mu Morpheus, AN200, TX81Z, Procussion, SG01-v, R8 MkII, SPX-90ii, JV-1010, and Blofeld attached to it.
Expectaz. How did you decide on the Access Virus for your synth. Does it have a lot of dance basses. Maybe you could do a video and go thru some of the bass presets.
Expectaz I am curious about the bass preset sounds and I am doing some research first. I am keeping a eye on any new synths that are coming out though that may have very good sounds.
@@Expectaz I’m interested more from amateur perspective, my all hole life is Electronic Music. I would like to start someday, we will see... sometimes i create something in Fl Studio but it's not the same as manual mpc, keybord, mixer etc.. ♡ I follow a lot of people like u, with talent and good progres, your trans melody is really good, maybe he needs some cuts but i keep my fingers crossed for u :)
That means a lot to me, thanks! I also like to play with the computer and did work with FL Studio for a long period. I later switched to ableton which I find better for my workflow. Especially if you get a push 2 for it. In FL I find it hard to route your sounds to the mixer every time when starting a new song. In ableton that’s much quicker because they’re “hardwired” to channels. If there’s anything I can help you with, let me know!
Thx a lot! If you want to connect or ask any questions regarding music production you can also find me on facebook and instagram. It might be easier to chat there! 😎
Very nice. I bought the MPC live 2 days ago mainly to use it in standalone mode, but I am disappointed by 5-minutes audio recording limitation and thinking to return it and buy Push 2.Is there any solution for 5 minutes audio track recording limitation? Thanks in advance
@@Expectaz Thank you for your quick reply. Sorry I deleted the Reddit question before seeing your answer as I was asking the same question here. Well sometimes a track could be longer than 5 min isn't it?
Lot's of people are asking for disk streaming. That would be great, because the internal ram is 2GB or so and is also beeing used by the Operating System.
@@Expectaz Yes 5 minutes for sampling seems to be long enough, but I bought this to replace Ableton, laptop..., usually I improvise on my synthesiser and record everything then i listen again and choose some parts...probably I should change my way. Anyway by seeing your videos I am more convinced to keep it.Thanks
Are you programming your Virus synth presets using a computer through their VST? I find it incredibly buggy via VST (one of the two DSPs always crashes). If I have it setup playing with MIDI it's very stable. I find it way faster to program all sounds for a song through the computer, which I prefer, then connecting to my Pyramid sequencer through MIDI to control it. I got the ModX too! Cheers
I did not have any real issues when using the plugin. Are you on windows or Mac? Btw what you see here when i play with the mpc or force they connect the virus via midi. Great thing with the mpc is that you can send program changes per sequence. Amazing!
@@Expectaz Yes. I get midi CC per clip as well through the Pyramid. I'm using a MacBook Pro and Logic Studio AU or Ableton VST and both give me crashes and weird ghost notes where I have to PANIC on the synth. Have you checked out the Akai Force?Looks pretty rad-I prefer standalone sequencers. I had a bad experience with AKAI in the past with my MPK49 and their service dept, told myself I wouldn't buy from them again.
Eric Liss Yes, you can see my Force in the upper left corner :) Want to be able to play my live set like a dj. With ableton link that’s totally possible. Have a pioneer djm2000 mixer for effects and hands on controlability. I bought the virus this year so did not use the plugin that much. Have the virus c as well which doesn’t have the plugin. Got the one from mystery islands which is also great. Uses sysex to edit the machine and works with the ti too.
Big fan of yours, since your posts on /r/synthesizers Have you thought about recording & tidying a few of your live sessions to create some tracks, and sending them to Armada/EnhancedRecordings/BlueSoho/etc. You have a different song structure due to playing live on your synths but I think it could be refreshing 👍
Thanks that is a great compliment!! That is def. on my mind! The latest version of mpc and force software allow me to export directly to ableton. Only have to record the synths separately. Then I will polish, arrange, mix and master!
@@Expectaz Yeah albeit nowhere near professional, I'm more of a tech geek (know a lot, but not a musician). I used FL Studio for a while, but I've been trying out Live for 2 years now, it's much more powerful for handling external hardware.
@@kevinleguillouklg Yeah Ableton is a great piece of software! I;m also a technician. Have my own company which is specialized in Software Development. But to combine these worlds is amazing ;)
Has anyone noticed a difference in the sound of drum samples sound on the Akai Force vs the Mpc x or Mpc Live. I find the drums on the Force especially the kicks don’t have definition or substance as they do on the other Mpcs.
Expectaz Poli popo On UA-cam explained there is a setting by default that it comes with that reduces your sample rates. You should check it out. I fixed mine and it sounds much better.
Love it. It’s hard to find producers making electronic music on the MPC most of the time I see people with it they make boombap trap or lofiHiphop check some of my tracks out and tell me what you think
well I was sooo into RAP but now, 20 summers later, I am not. Love trance AND you can rap to it but.... Keep it minimal. JUST FLOW WITH THE FORCE of a trak
Sounds like Psytrance, love it ❤ The Spacey Afterpump effect
Thanks David! I love psy, been to a lot of parties lol
very cool sounds

der rhythmus und groove sind sahne. tip top.
Danke René!! Ich liebe diesen tracks zu machen :)
super cool presentation.
Love this rack! To be able to stack synths is amazing
Fantastic =)))
Thanks a lot Aleks! See that you also make music. Will check your channel later too!
Sounds so clean just made a trance track on the mpc one with the circuit rhythm and the roland t8 for the 303
Thanks!! Those are great machines
This is sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet man!!!!!!!
Thanks a lot Robbie!! I like to have variation in what I do 😎
Gave set.. ❤️
Dank je!!

there you have it. THE KEYBOARD. that is when a "party" ends and Art starts
no need to be Fryderyk Chopin. But!!!!!!
Have no ambition going that route! But to play a little is really nice to do!!

Is that keyboard controlling an mpc plug in or its it its own sound playing?
The keyboard is sending midi to the Access Virus TI2 which does the most of the sounds. One of my favorite synths
