I'm a 74 year old history buff and retired architect. I love your passion and wish I was 40 years younger and traveling with you every weekend to another Virginia landmark. Great job as usual.
Thank you, Chris! The culmination of a life long dream to see this small manor house!!! Worshipped it since childhood! Almost found it in the mid-70's--but ran out of daylight...Excellent footage of the tour today! Loved it!!!😊❤️
I found a listing of free people of color from various years in the 1800's with the last name Veney in Warsaw/ Richmond County. I wonder if this is how they received freedom.
Thank you for taking us down all these paths.

Wonderful! Thank You.
Great to see the care put into the preservation of such a beautiful place.
Such a beautiful property! I love what they’re doing with the ruins. Thank you
Your welcome!
Why is the house not being rebuilt ?
Thank you
Thank you so much for this; I am a "cousin" descendant and I did not know about this museum.🎉
Very nice video! We are heading to Yorktown and Port Royal for vacation this week and your videos are very helpful.
Enjoyed another one of your videos - had to go look up more on Francis Lightfoot Lee. Glad you whipped out your drone. Keep up great work!
Mount Airy had a Christmas open house several years ago. Beautiful home.
Nice tour. I have a home near there, but I've never visited.
Great video man, I felt like I was there.
I visit that place about 11 years ago
Great video as always!
Is there any connection to the lightfoot house in Port Royal, Va ?
I just followed your Instagram page.
Should be rebuilt
