  • A special thanks to Chicago Music Exchange for sending well-inspected instruments to their customers. I was hesitant to order my Taylor 414 ce online due to many obvious reasons. However, the Taylor and the Martin arrived in perfect shape. I appreciate the efforts made by them to send quality products.

Great review. I love mine for camping too, nothing else is as portable with the build quality. I think it sounds good for what it is, it doesn't sound like my big Martin Dreadnought, but then I'd never, ever take that camping. I've got a special hook on the wall of our camper for mine, and I've even used mine for outdoor church services in the summer. By the way, I'm pretty sure it's all solid wood (Martin's website says it Sapele), with a special finish to protect it. Anyway, great job on this video, and oh yeah, pretty good singing too sir!

You’re a new acquaintance. I bought a used as good as new Backpacker some 10-15 years ago, never played it much. Brought it to the beach and had a nice singalong with about 15 workmates. Just recently I happened to catch a few reviews with The Backpacker. I like yours very much. I heard a few string them with Nashville Sound Strings, together with a regular acoustic next to you get an amazing mandolin/12 string sound together. Can’t wait to get back home n try this. Happy Strings to You 😀😀😀
