- Heyyo, I moved! Yup, I have gone off to college to study Music Education and Trumpet Performance at The University of Iowa. In my first semester, I am involved with the Hawkeye Marching Band, so most of my foaming occurs on weekends. Regardless, I am loving my time here and will definitely be staying here for the foreseeable future. The trains in this video are from my first month here. I saw three trains, most notably CRandIC Job 7, which is incredibly rare to see. CRandIC only runs about once a week and no one really knows when they run. A huge stroke of luck. A good omen for what's to come.

Thanks for watching!
at 52 seconds I have heard (at night) that horn coming from iowa interstate's slug unit pair requiring GP-38-2 number 721 and slug unit number 651. a slug diesel unit is a unique looking unit,it's shaped like a gondola train car with platforms on the front and back just like an ordinary diesel locomotive.
The connector track running up S. Gilbert Ct. Is it still used? Remember IAS doing brutal pulls up that in 1988 sometimes doing wheel slips and getting stuck.
So CRANDIC runs a unit all the way from Cedar Rapids? Or do they usually leave it parked near IAIS's yard and refuel there somehow?
Heck yea! Best city💪
