Hi there! My name is Robert, and this is my UA-cam channel. Here you can find my railfan videos of the railroads all over the country, but focused in the upper Midwest. I mainly railfan in Eastern Iowa but I often make trips to places such as Galesburg, Dubuque, and the Minnesota Iron Range. I am also a model railroader with a collection of HO scale equipment. I am a graduate of The University of Iowa with a degree in Cinema and journalism. When I’m not posting videos, check out my Flickr page for my up date photos. I upload as often as I can, so please subscribe!

Chasing the 2024 CPKC Holiday Train through Eastern Iowa [4K]
It's the most wonderful time of the year, which means that it is once again time to chase the CPKC Holiday Train. Freshly adorned with a CPKC boxcar replaying the script Canadian Pacific, 02HH traveled from Chicago to Ottumwa on November 27th. I chased the train from Clinton to Muscatine. Shots include Deer Creek, Clinton, Le Claire, Davenport, and Buffalo. Enjoy, and Merry Christmas!

On June 20th, 2024, Canadian National’s Elgin, Joliet, and Eastern heritage unit 3023 led M338, the daily Waterloo to Gary manifest. This unit represents the EJ&E, which is the outer Chicago belt railroad which CN acquired in in the early 2000’s. This is one of five CN heritage units and the first one I have seen. Enjoy a quick and easy Dubuque Sub chase with shots at Raymond, Jesup, and Winthrop.

On June 6th, 2024, I went down to Burlington, Iowa to shoot BNSF’s L-CHI663, the daily local running from Burlington to the massive Cargill plant in Eddyville, Iowa. On July 22nd, 2022, I headed up to Dubuque to shoot L565, the daily Dubuque to Manchester turn. On that day, Grand Trunk Western GP38-2 4927 would be leading the train.
