Unihertz Titan - The coolest rugged phone I've ever owned.

Been using the Titan since 2020 with the older EMMC memory. The phone still works good and I LOVE looking at the device. The camera is definitely weaker (under low light) and the aspect ratio does make some apps behave weirdly. But for my work-oriented phone, this phone just gets things done.
I only wish Unihertz would crank out more PKB phones. Everything you said was spot on with my experience too. I'm even typing this comment using the Titan and all by muscle memory too! It feels too good typing on this phone.
OH and the whole package is IP 67 rated and easy to disassemble! Unihertz sells replacement parts too!
They need to release an updated version. Not so heavy, better camera and more recent operating system.
Agree. They have the Titan Slim which I kinda like. I may consider buying it for my collection. I just love that Blackberry look.
Titan with 5g would be my perfect phone...
If they use Liquid metal for midframe and other structural components, they could make this SUPER thin and light.
a lot of people hate on this phone but honestly for what your getting isn't too bad for $300 yeah it could be better and I'm sure by now a lot of people are wanting an updated model of these phones which would be nice with it being 2024 now but for what you get with this phone, isn't all too bad and yes this phone isn't for everyone but there still is a big group of people who would enjoy having a phone like this

I like this phone.
I had a blackberry key one, I mis it so have ordered tge titan. I am also impressed have heard people say it has upto 5 days standby. Original blackberry had bad battery that overheat, so this a big improvement
Since I broke a very light weight phone, I took the decision never buy a light weight phone..... I do like the look, style etc... and you are rigth this is a phone not for everyone... Thanks

so nice to see a review on this phone so recent. Does it have a function similar to Samsung Wallet? Like store your card details and be able to use the phone to pay in the grocery or shopping.
Yes it supports wallet applications. I use google wallet
Absolutely. It has NFC and I use the same Google Wallet as I have on my Samsung S22 as well to pay anywhere.
Thanks for your video review, I enjoyed watching. I owned a Titan Slim briefly but I really didn't like the small keys. I am interested in getting a Titan OG, but was having a hard time deciding between this and the Pocket.
The Pocket looks nice, but the screen is still way too small and I fear the keyboard keys will be too small for comfort like the Slim.
Let us know what you think about the Titan vs Titan Pocket, if you had to choose one over the other:)
Thanks for your comment. I'm glad you enjoyed the video. To be honest, I can't really recommend any other models because I never used them and can't really tell the difference. I actually like the Titan Slim for how it looks but still haven't purchased yet. The Titan Pocket looks more like a toy to me. But the Titan I have now is basically the only model I fell in love with when it came out mostly for its unique square design. It is larger than the Pocket model and I can surely say, I almost can't fit it in my pocket for how wide it is :) Lately, it just sits in a drawer with other retro phones in my collection. So I'm not using it anymore but is still charged and ready to come with me on a road trip if needed. I bought it mostly as an addition to my collection but for everyday use it is really heavy and you may get tired pretty fast for holding it. It feels almost like a silver bullion in hand. Like I said in my video, think twice before buying it because you may get a little disappointed if you have some high expectations from it and may end up not using it. For me it serves mainly as a collectible piece and that's the way I look at it. But if you're into heavy and unique looking phones that turn heads in public and is still usable in 2023, I can easily recommend it. I hope this helps a little.

I am using a Key2 and compared to that I was not really impressed with the Titan Slim as it was heavier and not as wide, and then too thick. I found the keyboard keys to be way too small and cramped and didn't enjoy the typing compared to my Key2. I figure that something like the Titan OG will be a more pleasant typing experience, despite some of the shortcomings like lopsided keyboard. Like yourself, I am also interested in getting this for the nostalgic and retro collection.

You need to write a script before making a video. Not really giving us anything technical about the phone ... more just your appreciation of its appearance. I have just ordered the Titan Slim to replace my BB Key2.
Absolutely agree. It was just my personal opinion about it and nothing else. But I love the Titan Slim and I'm considering buying it for my collection as well. Thanks for watching.

It defaults to theater mode, so the video is full width up top and description is bottom half of screen

I'm so tired of smart phones...I've been wanting to make the switch but what bothers me that it's only 4g. I'd have to switch carriers so it works on 4g since ATT phased out 4g. That said....I doubt the 5g is really necessary if I'm going to just use it for its phone/text and light social media consumption.
Why in 2024 i see this phone coz im fans blackberry...in lookin for many years qwerty phone...im using samsung a52 day by day i feel boring coz qwerty phone is suitable for me..😢😢😢😢

They need to update the og titan with 8 -12 gb ram, 5g, better security, better camera.

Worst phone I ever owned. Buggy S/W, wouldn't make a call after 6:00 pm, nothing close to a passport in any way. It was rugged and could be dropped, thats about it. Tossed it in the shredder where it belongs, also tried the slim, just as crappy.
Dont byy anything from unihertz itself they blocked me from messenger and giving no response to my emails about my lost parcel they have no customer support or new android update for their phones no recommend
