Im enjoying your content. I have one recommendation for you though if you’ll receive it. On the large lots after you find your first pick, use it to drive around the lot to find your other picks. It’ll save you 30-45 minutes on your pickups.
I just started following you and I like your videos. I have a couple recommendations for you. Check out Copart and IA. If they’re in your area, try to haul for them. They load you with a forklift and you’re in and out quickly. I drove truck for 22 years and I wish I would’ve got into this car Hollyn sooner. I sold my truck and trailers and never look back. I think I’m the only person in South Carolina that halls with a Toyota tundra and a two car hauler trailer. I clear between 1502 grand a week and I’m home every night. It’s all about planning your route and a secret to this is getting to know the people in these offices. They will let you know when certain units are coming in before they hit the load board. Keep up the good work and I’ll keep watching.
Do you gotta have all the same trucking stuff like ifta and commercial insurance and llc ? I’m in South Carolina too and was thinking about doing this but doing it non Cdl. Is your tundra a heavy duty truck like say a f250 or 2500 ? I have a 95 Tahoe & a 78 Chevy pickup and was thinking of doing a single car trailer to get started?
I have the equipment and permits done, I’m having an issue with central dispatch saying my DOT is not active. When it is.. any help would be appreciated.

you turned me onto SuperDispatch and local car hauling and its doing me better than Flat bed OTR is doing, i'm out of the KCMO area! Appreciate you big bro
What’s happening Cuz! I love your content! I have a hot shot business also but I’m in freight! The reason I said Cuz because I’m Isaac Pruitt and have family in Detroit plus I deliver loads every week to Detroit to Hammitrak. I wanted to get into cars due to more loads but you gave me much more insight because I run heavy and been in business about four years and the Ford Railway is close to me. The information made my mind clear to the decision I have to make! Thanks Cuz! We just might be related.
Insurance right off the bat when starting a new authority is gonna be high.. don't stress it.. 8 months to a yr they drop the cost per yr a lot! Dont let it deter you from your goals your dream. It gets better
Hey Bro, I like your content hoping to go on my own next year. Hey get you a small printer put inside your truck wireless print from your phone Walmart got them like $50 good investment
Your doing fine. Keep doing what your doing. Its a honest mans work. Some people are just haters and they get their jollys off on being Debbie Downers.
Aye God bless you hood all is well. To keep you from going back home to print out release forms invest in a wireless printer. That way you can print from your truck and not waste valuable time. Bless up brother.
I think you have the right idea staying local until you Are sure of the reliability your truck.. The 6.0 Ford are notorious for blowing head gaskets if your truck has been updated and studded, then you could put a tuner on it and it would make a lot more power.. I have an older 2001 with a 7.3 with an 80 hp tune, it gets better fuel mileage, and runs a lot faster..
yes, and no its all original no upgrades or mods so I don't want to over stress it because its runs great now so I'll continue to limit the miles I run. someone else mentioned the 7.3 , I wish I had knew about them sooner but now i know, thanks
Whatever works for any of us out here, I just hope it’s a good path. I can tell you all from my experience, I completely went away from Central Dispatch and haul exclusively freight on my 40’ flatbed. It pays way better and I have more to choose from. That might just be the West Coast, but I can average $2.85 per mile and run roughly 8,000 miles a month.
Wow, bro. I worked security out there. That's what made me jump into the car hauling business. I just need to upgrade my equipment so I can get to those loads. I also saw 3 car haulers moving 2 trucks at a time 3 or 4 times early morning hours.
They did me dirty on that pick up, i wont say the shipper name but their communication and RATES suck . Are you looking for a 3 car trailer? Im looking to upgrade equipment too .
Damn lol my insurance is pretty similar except my cost is 30,000. A lot of it is because of my truck/trailer combo is about 140, and i do CDL mainly heavy machinery 23k payload but damn looking real nice having low overhead like you.
Hey, Eprofitdetroit. I live halfway in between Flint and Detroit. Would this be a good region to start in? How did you first start out? Did you get your own authority or did you lease onto another company at first? I am sick of my desk job and I have been hauling cars/ projects for most of my life on my personal 20FT load trail car hauler. The most daunting part for me seems to be how do I get loads and is it better to sign on with another company as a lease or to just say eff it and start my own authority. Is the market too saturated in MI? Do you ever haul out of Flint/ Lansing or is it mainly the Metro Detroit area? I do have my class A and air brake endorsement as well if I ever wanted to make the jump to a semi. Thanks for any advice!
I've been studying for my CDL and never even thought of car hauling...there are so many avenues in trucking its amazing and I'm so excited for my trucking journey. Great video btw!!
Can you make $1,000 a day with local runs? My buddy in FL is pulling it off with his Ram 3500 and a 3-4 car trailer, sticking to a 150-mile radius. He's clocking 14-hour days when needed.
yes and that sounds about right . you can make good money running local , it does depend on how hard and long you run sometimes. I ran loads for $100 per car one day only going 20 miles 1 way and I ran 9 cars in 8 hours . it just depends on who you broker with .
My insurance dropped, how do i get back on. Old driver hit parked cars twice back to back with the trailer. I got a new driver now, but how do i get insurance again
@@EprofitdetroitTheProcess good look, appreciate the feedback. Progressive was the one the drop my insurance. I'll call around though; got a new driver so I'm hoping it'll workout now that I no longer have that same driver behind the wheel.
Not going to read through all of these to see if someone mentioned it already. My buddy said that if you pick up multiple deliveries to set your ramps out and while you go looking for another vehicle to load keep that one vehicle on the ramps and take your key to that car. That way your ramps don't develop legs and walk away!
What's a ballpark number of how much the insurance will run monthly? I know that you can’t produce an exact number, but give me a ballpark number on the high side.
