I wonder why people would bother riding these when it would be just as fast to walk. No wonder electric trams were such a revolution in urban transport.
Think that this tram was purposely run at walking pace. From memory the horse trams in Douglas, Isle of Man travel faster. All being well I will have a film of this later this year (2018).
I think that our many types of four-legged companions enjoy being with humans and doing things with / for them. However it is extremely important that they are well treated and well cared for - food, water, rest, medical care etc. What I do find objectionable however is the use of wild animals in a circus - lions, tigers, bears, elephants, etc.
