I fortunately spent most of my 20's in the 80's. INXS were so much a part of that decade, and they were Great. Unfortunately Michael is no longer with us. What a big talent he was. One of my favorite singers of all time. Depression always needs to be taken very serious. What a huge loss to the world he was. You're sorely missed Michael. R.I.P.

INXS is one of my favorite Aussie Rock 🎸 Bands. Michael was a Charming handsome and a gorgeous bloke. He connected with his fans. My favorites were Suicide blonde, Never Tear Us Apart, Disappear n Not Enough Time. Why do talented music 🎵 artists have to die tragic deaths God I don't understand this? RIP Michael 😭. Exactly he left us too early too soon. His fan from India.

Phyllis\\\\\\\ j. morrison was much more dark in his lyrics and had a death wish, ie: "cancell my subscription to the resurrection , send my credentials to the house of detention , iv'e got some friends inside " ......they had a different approach to music & a different intensity, morrison was 'raw sexuality' , however hutchence was 'utter sensuality' , both were stage animal's and mesmerized their audiences , often leaving the crowd on the tip toe or the edge of their seats , they were both chick magnets that left women breathless and panting searching for oxygen ! two ROCK GOD'S that's early demise just made their life's image even more mysterious....one thing is sure they are now " LEGENDS'' that command respect no matter what generation one lives in , authentic rock persona's that will for ever be missed...........'la creme de la creme' of rock musicianship ! i attended a INXS concert but never had the privilege to see 'the doors'..could you imagine '
"MICHAEL & JIM " singing together on stage in a medley of inxs & doors hit songs , like 'mystify & bitter tears following 'love her madly' and ' l.a woman' , WOW ! that would be a incredibly awesome mix of performance... tell me phyllis how would you see their voices mixing together , hutchence sang with many singers ie: 'ray charles, chrissy hinds , that guy jimmy barnes (whom i don't care for) and a few others who 'm i don't remember , do you?!!! ---peace

I think there were SO much more to Michael Hutchence than met the eye, he was a talented lyricist, a dynamic performer with dazzling charisma, sensual attraction and gorgeous looks, but also introspective, vulnerable and emotional minded.....he was gorgeous, that´s true, but under a lot of pressure from all of us...what really happened in that hotel room we´ll never know, but to know he died alone,no one to hold his hand, no one to tell him that he would be incredibly missed by all of us, still hurts. We know exactly what happened in the hotel room - Suicide.
No possibility for murder as he was wedged behind the door.
Impossible for it to be autoerotic games because that requires a soft ligature or self-releasing mechanism, unlike Michael who hung from up high - not the doorknob - using a tightly buckled belt.
Even famed Coroner Dr. Shepherd reviewed the case and said there was no way he expected to regain consciousness and that it was definitely suicide (Dailymail has his interview).

Originally Paula agreed with the coroner and said she worried he wa sgoing to kill himself according to friends (Lovegroves' book). She only changed her story to avoid a slander suit from Bob for saying Bob drove Michael to suicide and saying that Michael "snapped after 3 years of torment" and "Bob killed my baby" - meaning sucide - not actually killed.

He definitely had everything needed to go on to grow + find “his own unique sound”....so much lay ahead for him!
Both Paula, Michael, + little “Tiger” should have had many many years of love + happiness together.
But I have had instances where it takes everything I have just to go thru the +++ anxiety in waiting for pills to kick in.
All it takes is one too many stressor, that pushes you over the line, + that horrible negative energy that you cannot be around...+ not having the right person to talk too!

I remember when INXS first came out. I was one of the few people who listened to them. I had a shirt that had
INXS across the front of it. Whenever I wore it, people would come up to me and ask what does INX- S mean. Like ink in a pen!! Man, I loved this band, still do. R. I. P. Michael. ❤

He was a talented and highly sensitive being who lived in a world who didn't appreciate him. He was too good for this place.

Im a huge fan of Michael Hutchence and INXS. They had just the most unique 80's sound. I studied abroad in Australia in college and got the honor to visit his grave stone(well his memorial you would say I guess)

Michael was a very talented gentle soul. A bit of a 'bad' boy but oh so adorable! Like a lot of artists, he was sensitive and his creative force collided with his complex private life. Things unravelled tragically. As a fellow Aussie, I am so proud of his achievements on the world stage. I will love and miss Michael forever.💋❤💋❤

Michael was (and still is) a legend; a god even. He was a genuine human being. He was a stunningly beautiful man with an unforgettable, unique talent. He was an amazing father who loved his daughter more than anything. He was an angel walking among humans. He is loved and missed so much. Rest in peace, Michael. We will never forget you

I dont believe for one minute that Micheal committed suicide . He loved Paula and their daughter and everything to live for.. He was experimenting with sexual asphixiation at the time plus he was getting high . It went horribly wrong . Very sad . Devastating for Paula 😢

Nice short documentary about Michael. His loss was such a tragedy; he died too young. I agree with what other's say; Michael would have never left his daughter. She was his everything. Paula sent him into a downward spiral. Bob Geldolf was insanely jealous of Michael. I will never understand why he got custody of Michael's daughter, Tiger Lily.
