Amazing how Brian Sir is directing people and organizations towards their journey towards growth, peace and prosperity on a continuous and on-going basis. Eat That Frog is yet another masterpiece; which no one can afford to miss. And the book can be read in 5-10 days by spending two careful hours in a day. Thank you Sir !
Ive read the book, perhaps the best book you will ever read on time management The best part is, you feel like your are learning with every page you turn over.
People are posting this audiobook on UA-cam. They likely don't have permission to do so. Please support Mr. Tracy by buying the book. I did, and I immediately overcame my procrastination problem. I had previously bought a book on the subject by two psychiatrists, but it did nothing for me.
Just bought this book on Kindle and Audible: excellent. Only a few chapters in and I already got far more value out of it than the price. Thanks, Brian.
Got hold of your book a few years ago. Good one. Thank you Mr Tracy. Simplicity is its forte. There is nothing in that book that (most) people do not normally know, but something that (many) people rarely do. I think its a matter of being "aware" of what we are doing (or not doing) every moment of life that defines our success or failure.
I would also like to, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for all the work you do and share for free, especially for this wonderful book! (Which you also kindly shared for FREE!!!) I've been studying buddhism and all kinds of wisdom traditions, all kinds of 'manifesting' techniques and methods and whatnot, but I have to say, that no book I've read in my life has such a direct impact on my thinking. I'm an artist and kind of have prejudices against being all 'business-y' (if you know what I mean) so I was a bit skeptical, but this book has actually heart. Wonderfully written and just so simple its mindblowing. THANK YOU SIR Hope you have a most wonderful day!
You are so amazing!!! You make such a difference in so many peoples lives, thank you for sharing. Just listening to several of your videos has motivated me and helped in a seriously negative situation, THANK YOU!!!
Today I have got your channels I am very much happy. Because you are good author I bought eat that frog so that one of the best time management books Love you sir for this book
I love how many productivity systems include delegation as something you should strive to do at every opportunity. I’m far enough down the totem pole that I often find my day swamped by urgent and important stuff that someone else has flung my way. It’d be nice to include some thought of who has capacity to take these on, not just skills when you’re next advising people of the ABCDE choices they have.
Even if you plan your day and assign tasks, there may be something that will change your plan, for example an email from manager „I need you to prepare and send me this and that by tomorrow.” This will suddenly become a big A on your tasklist and you might not even touch the other A’s you’ve intended to complete at all, or were disrupted half way through your first A that will be pushed
I am a big procrastinator. I lost almost everything because of my procrastination. This video is 13 yrs old. I am going to follow this method in 2024, October. Lets see whether this method will change my life forever.
"Eat the frog first" is an intriguing concept, predicated on the assumption that one has complete control over their schedule. However, for the majority of individuals, especially those who aren't exceptionally wealthy, such autonomy is often lacking. Often the most challenging task of the day cannot be tackled until the late afternoon or early evening due to external factors and the schedules of others. Hence, while the time management concept of "Eat the Frog" is commendable in theory, it may not hold up well in practical application.
Thanks for your wonderful book. We are looking forward to benefit from "Eat That Frog" in our Book Club. Would be an honor to have you join us in person or over zoom and share your wisdom.
Great book - HIGHLY recommend this for serial procrastinators! If you learn just ONE thing from it... (such as described in the video) you will reap a multiple return on the time investment spent reading it. And it IS an investment that WILL return gains if you apply the knowledge in your life.
I have been trying to prioritize my tasks each day. But I found it frustrating when someone above me always orders me to do things that's not on my task list. I found it interrupting me to achieve my daily goal. As my role doesn't allow me to follow my daily plan and delegate, resulting in work piling up, what are your suggestions? Thanks.
RUNNING LIKE THE TURTLE, NOT THE HARE According to Lean Management, there's a previous step than 'A' (tasks that has serious consequences if done or not). Step 'S': remove, clean and organize a frequent task. It has been tested for years in the Japanese industry that, for nearly any circumstance, doing 'S' and 'A' actually takes less time than doing 'A' alone.
+Alberto Salvia Novella hey this sounds intriguing, could you please elaborate a little, or maybe direct me in some article where this is discusses, or maybe give some real life example? thank you so much.
Using will power won't get you far. Having to use your will power is an indicator of having an internal conflict. You'd just be fighting with yourself. That's not wise. What would be wise is to find out what's holding you back and let go of it, so that you could proceed with eagerness and maybe even joy.
Great question. I reckon (as a devoted Tracy follower and someone sorting out my life right now) that, by definition, not all tasks CAN be A-tasks. If I'm right, then at least some of the tasks you think are As are actually not As at all! (Most of them are probably Bs.) Hence, you always feel like you should be doing something else - because you haven't actually consciously decided which ones are "must do", "should do", "could do" etc. Oh, and never forget the Ds - DELEGATE wherever possible.
I like to share my own experience as I try to set ABCDE task for my daily work. At the first time I do make a mistake by confusing an A task as the C or D task after that it very bad for me. So I think to know what is your A or E task you need to think the result of etc task and you can determine what is the most ugly frog then eat it :D My English still on improving. So don't mine me if bad :)
And then there are those things you can do that take more time up front but greatly increase your efficiency later. Like tool development. The only thing is that THERES NEVER ENOUGH TIME.
Could someone help me please? I'm a student and the first thing I do every day is go to class, but the most important thing of my day are the hours in which study alone. My classes start the 7 A.M.. I should get up early in the morning to eat my frog?
Yes, Karla. First, get up every morning a little bit earlier and plan your day in advance. Take some time to think about your goals and how you can best achieve them. This sets the tone for the whole day. bit.ly/2WNA9wv
I came here trying to learn how frogs swallow and eat their large prey, even each other. I figured ABCDE method was Always Bite Chew Digest, & Extract Boy was I off...
i disagree with one concept that is stated more than once in this book. that is starting work earlier and staying late. unless you are getting paid more.
Great, but what if all my tasks are A tasks? :-) Everything has consequences if it is not done 100% perfectly: work, houseworks, family meetings, healthy lifestyle.. everything. My problem is this: if I do one thing, let's say studying or working on a project, I always feel I should do something else, like cooking dinner or other thing around the house. When I cook or clean, I think of all the studying I could do at that time. And I often end up with things done badly or not done at all.. Well?
i know exactly what you mean here...but the funny this is, i think you know what the answer to your question is. I know what the answer is too, but my mind plays games with me like this to avoid taking action. What is the thing that you LEAST want to do now? That is probably a good indicator of what you should start with.
Read my E mail, then proceed A, B, C. never a D or E on my to do. "A" task must do's from high level executives. "B" task. Are my "A" tasks, daily necessary.

No-one will eat that big frog in one bite. Cut your frog up and do the smaller tasks in order of importance, with alotted time in mind.

I call them the toads I have to eat before i even get to my frogs. The tadpoles are left ignored for so long they usually become toads too. 🐸
An underated youtuber... but a well-known author!
Loving this. Love from Malaysia 2023.

Homemakers and nurses! But the more chaotic the day becomes, the more important it is to have a plan to refer to in order to get grounded again!
Absolutely love this method 🎉
Reminds me of Stephen Coveys 4 quadrants- good stuff Brian

I love eat that frog 😻❤️
Very white collar focused
Then the B task is actually A task for Today. and once the B task is complete you can start with the thats due in a week?
Nice now i do it
Why do I feel like Brian Tracey really is Will Forte in makeup
Than the B-task wil be an A1 task for that day and the A task due this week will be an A2 task
Are you organized if not heres a technique
Me waiting to take my math placement exam
❤
right now I will that frog 👌👍
I'm confused. Are eat that frog and ABCDE method the same?
Su Su San ABCDE is the method to use for the ‘Eat that Frog’ approach/discipline
💯👌👌👌
Watching this video is an E Task.
Unless you have no time management skills. Then its an A task.
@@soloreviews5776Ok man it's a B or C
writing a comment like yours is an F task. Don't be rude and arrogant: it is an A task for you, Kyotosomo.

No they aren't.
Case in point. You need to prioritize.
i am sorry , i put a dislike by mistake
