Why did I get into Volleyball so late!! This college I'm at the volleyball girl's team taught me how to play. In just 4 months I'm able to compete at least on that level. Though I still have much to learn. I can only imagine If I focused on that sport as a child I'd be playing somewhere in College by now. But I'm not all that mad only because my other passion is baseball and I'm playing that in College.

what impresses me the most is the fact that he hits left. left can be difficult depending on which side your hitting from and it also means the setter has to know exactly where nishida needs the set to be at so, i have a lot of respect for the team as a whole
The setter always needs to know where their hitters need the set to be no matter left or right handed. Also the right side hitting is the same as left if you play in the mirror position. But yes it should be a bit easier to play opposite as left hander which is probably the reason he plays opposite
nishida and yamamoto on the same team feels so illegal. one of the most incredible liberos in mens volleyball, and one of the most powerful hitters in mens volleyball, on the same exact team. Japan's team is wayyyy overpowered and i love it. (of course the other guys are absolutely outstanding too, my personal favorites are those two though :D) also where are my haikyuu fans at, i see yall everywhere 😅
Oh to be like him, even though girls volleyball is very different in playing styles and other stuff, I want to work my way up to being at His Level. look out Yūji, I'm coming for you 💜
