I really cant tell the difference. Been eating it often, from college days to present (though i eat less these past months cause of my health). All I noticed was the changed in packaging and they added and removed those crunchy fixins.
Judging by the thumbnail, the calamansi version that they ate was the old version that Lucky Me revived recently, because it is labeled as 'mas pinasarap' [meaning that the noodles reverted to its curly and thin size (for non-filipino readers, 'mas pinasarap' literally translates to 'more delicious/yummy')]
The reason why its in a small packs. Because we filipinos eat almost everything with rice. This explains why the ramen pancit canton in the ph has made with strong flavor, because it will be mixed with rice. 🙂 ✌
Try to cook them a little bit shorter than the time on the packaging, then add soft boiled egg! Try Yakisoba too! Green packaging is what i like best but the serving size is too small.
wilfredo mendoza i’m a filipino, too, but i never liked eating pancit canton or yakisoba with rice or bread 😅 the size got smaller over the years (and im not that old! Haha)
