In regards to the Land Shark, I've also heard the name pronounced "boo-LAY" instead of bu-leTTe. But then I ask, why use the double T? As always, thanks for sharing! Love your content and it helps that it's relevant to a game I play 😂
I actually had no idea Otyugh had that deep of a community lore. I mean, technically they would be able to live in symbiosis with practically any sufficiently large settlement, because they don't really want to attack people and they value the things everyone else wants to get rid of. Since they eat garbage and can be reasoned with you could probably make a killing by mediating between city officials and these guys, you could set up a working relationship with a couple of them and then move from settlement to settlement and have them clean out their sewer systems on a rotating quota, the sewers get cleaned and the Otyugs never run out of food, it's a win-win.
on the subject of shoggoths and the Dark Tapestry, I don't know exactly how much info there is on the old cults, but netherless, a believe a Factions video on the Old Cults would be cool.
18:39. Huh, and I used to think Pathfinder didn’t have Beholders . . . In all seriousness, this is a well put-together video. I love that Paizo thought through the biology of a lot of these weird creatures and what find of physiologies or adaptations they’d need. But I have to wonder, how many of these can Pathfinder still use in the post-Remaster era.
Sounds risky, but I’d be glad if that did happen. A bunch of these are are kind of bland in DND (the only ones that aren’t are the Beholders and the Rust Monsters, if only because in DnD you can domesticate them),and I like that Pathfinder gives them more personality.
@@MrTotalAhole I meant you could domesticate Rust Monsters. But, yes, I'm sure some adventurer has tried to domesticate young Beholders. Because Player Characters . . .
The Purple worms stuff is really cool. I did not know that and it is good for my age of Worms run. Still hope you will at some times give Paizos old works a look over on your channel.
I appreciate that youre using the older PF 1st ed and 2nd ed names, for people that may have not caught those particular creature features (not me mind you).
Unrelated question: I'm currently preparing to run the Kingmaker campaign. Now, my Players decided to create an all Kobold party, consisting of an old witch, an inventor, a plane touched (talosi) kineticist, and possibly a gunslinger (Player hasn't decided yet). Any ideas, how the people around them, especially the Aldori and the different companions, would act/behave towards a group of kobolds? Also, do you perhaps know, if there are any Kobold deities in Golarion? I couldn't find one specific to kobolds, and all I found was basically "Dragon gods, evil aligned gods, or actual dragons (as ancestors)", which could be problematic. The only good aligned Dragon deity they listed is lawful, which would clash with this definitely chaotic cluster of kobolds, and if they were to worship actual dragons, that could lead to conflict when they have to face draconic enemies.
Great question. My read on this is that your players are signaling something to you as a GM when they choose an all-Kobold party. They're looking for light-hearted silliness. They're not looking for verisimilitude. So although I could guess about how the Aldori might react to an all-Kobold party in 'official canon' Pathfinder, if you want to call it that, that's much less important than what will be fun for your players. Here's a great article about the relationship players and GMs can have with each other when it comes to collectively developing a rewarding gaming experience that I always liked: lookrobot.co.uk/2013/06/23/stanislavski-vs-brecht-in-tabletop-roleplaying/ If I were in your shoes, I might even decide that there is an unoffical sixth kingdom of Brevoy, that was a kobold kingdom, led by a famous Kobold duelist of the Aldori line. You have leeway to get a little silly with this premise. Make them the heirs to a lost legacy, that the human societies might not believe at first, but eventually embrace as they prove themselves heroes, etc, etc.
Funny you should say that, as I've just talked about the Oracle class in a video I'm producing... but its about 10 videos out now, my backlog has grown. Sorry!
Fun video about imaginative creatures! Gibbering mouthers are horrifying, but my darkest nightmares are actually the ones where the spider with the face of my first crush chases me through my junior high screaming I need to get ready for football practice or Santa will die of dehydration. I'm not sure what it means, but I wake up thirsty and rationalizing it would probably pay for a psychiatrist's next vacation ;). More seriously - Bhole's are flat-out crazy and I have no clue how you fit one into a campaign or run an encounter with what is basically a biological battleship, but they're a fun idea in an apocalyptic grinding death sort of way.
Easily the #1 Pathfinder lore channel on, not just UA-cam, but the entire internet!
Your videos are my favorite thing to listen to throughout the day.
Awww! Comments like this give me life.

Boulet sounds like the name of a famous chef...
I love Bulletes ever since I saw someone make art of them as puppy-sized creatures and thought it would be so cool to have one as an animal companion
Very cool creatures for animal companions!

It’s true they are definitely a benign monster type
They're environmentally friendly....sorta. Friendly that is.
Goggling Watcher...Wow! That's dangerously close to breaking copyright.
thx for the video it's amazing like allways!
probably why it got left behind in 1st edition.
Yeah I don't think we'll get any Watchers in 2E :-)
Oh nice, very nice! This is an excellent topic. Gonna have a lot of fun checking this out. Have a terrific day everyone! Thanks for the vid.
Thanks! You too!
Adventurers preferring to facing a angry dragon over rust monsters not knowing the DM has a rust dragon encounter planned
dungeons and dragons? more like dungeons and every horrifying creature!

Faction video on the old cults is a great idea. Adding it to the list!
Love the worm! (Stellaris players will understand)
What will be, was
What was, shall be
Gravity is desire.
Time is sight
Classic monsters, I love it!
The title is perfect... Dnd
Yay more videos. It's a guilty pleasure to end my day listening to your dulcet tones
Thank you kindly!
Nothing to be guilty about. ;)
Yahoo! Just in time to watch this on my lunch break. Love your videos.
Hope you enjoy!

I'm not sure, but I think many will remain just with a superficial name change to differentiate them from their OGL counterparts

This man is cooking, a new video every week. Much appreciated.
I try!
The cave worms are my favorite. Thanks for the interesting video!
Anyone else play Wrath of the Righteous while listening to him cover material?
Haha! Awesome

there is a channel on youtube i belive is called KoboldDM that has a nearly all kobold party doing kingmaker, you might want to check that out

Sorry for the late answer, I was so busy thinking about your suggestion, that I totally forgot to say thank you.
Allways a highlight when one of your videos pops up
Cloackers must have exceptionally long lifespans if they hardly trust each other. Must be hard to mate
Right off the bat i feel like you're singling people out. EVERYONE thinks halflings are a tasty snack. Because they are.

Yeah if you’re encountering a Bhole then it’s more of an environment than it is a foe
I guess you get your hands on a battleship of your own? It’s not like spaceships are only available in Starfinder.
huh recently had a fight with cloakers ad a roper. quite a psycedelic trip

I'll never see harmless stalactites the same way again 😆
They'll crunch your bones!
A very nice dungeon dive
Another great video!
Thank you!
Ropers. The greatest reason to nuke the Darklands into oblivion. Consequences be damned. Hate those things.
They are pretty freaky
My favorite bhole, the toothy Massacre Wurm 😂
I mean it’s kind of perfect art 😅

Uh, the art you showed for the Bhole is of Massacre Wurm, a Magic: The Gathering card.
Yes it is ;-)

Bulette should be pronounced "Boo-Lay".
Even if the word were French, it would be written Boulet if the t were silent.
always good to see new vid from great MythKeeper :)

THANKS FOR ANOTHER GREAT VIDEO
