- Join us for a road trip around Kent as we explore the county in search of some hidden gems we never knew were right on our doorstep!
We begin our search in the seaside town of Broadstairs as we seek out a little corner of California by the beach serving up some delicious food and chill vibes. Then it's time for a total change as we visit one of the most significant roman sites in Britain, Richborough Roman Fort.
Our afternoon begins at a cute little farm shop for a delicious lunch out in the sun before our journey ends back by the sea in Whitstable. We take a summer evening stroll along the promenade before trying some weird and wonderful ice creams from Bears Ice Cream Imaginarium.

Oh my...Basil ice cream...errrrr, no ta very much!! Brave to try though. You always make me giggle. Was in Herne Bay and Whitstable last week with the family. My childhood bungalow is still there in Hampton. I remember hot sunny happy days there when I was little🌞Nice memories. Fab vid guys! x J x

Just came across your channel and its going to be a keeper channel, not overkeen on travel malarkey vlogs but this one is definitely the dogs bollocks. I enjoyed your Hastings uploads as its my hometown ( I now live in Darlington) I may join the channel (very rare thing for me to do but i do on odd occasion) at a later date, which I normally only do with channels that are informative and funny at the same time and your channel does tick both them boxes.

Oh you two make me 😄 so very much - your banter between yourselves makes me chuckle - as a fellow Kent resident, I can claim my love for Broadstairs and Whitstable - jolly day trips to the seaside n all that. My hubby was v interested in Richborough and as an English Heritage member, that’s on his list to visit - he said he’s “done” next door, Reculver, have you?
Loved the look of the lunch food at the garden centre - but was a bit 🫤😖at the thought of munching Basil icecream (I laughed when you said ‘erbs in an American stylie but it really does irk me when I hear Americans saying it without the important letter H - they are not French! - glad that you didn’t pronounce it as bay zel icecream though! 😫🫣
Where to next week? There are so many hidden gems in Kent to discover, so I look forward to seeing where you visit next 👍🏻😊 xx
Love Whitstable, love Broadstairs and glad to hear we make you laugh! We have done Reculver yes but it’s currently all in scaffold as they are doing some major maintenance on it.
