What about the platforms in the water could be rocks instead of read blocks. Same with every other ones, cave-spikes or holes. This would make it seem more natural but you can make them a bit brighter and it will help outline where you should go next

Great video! What unity XR framework are you using for your game? Is it something you made, I see you have a lot of tutorials. And lastly if its something you made then do you sell it? I'm looking for a good XR framework and it seems your videos include most of everything I need. But ofc I would rather get the final code instead of following a whole bunch of tutorials :P

I think you would be wise to change from a hammer to another tool, simple and avoids later frustration with bennett. What about using a climbing hook and changing the environment to frozen.

You should make the player a little bit more heavy

I think you may be making a big mistake in changing vertical falling to horizontal falling - moving the user horizontally without their control is a surefire way to induce VR sickness, especially if it's fast and not a constant rate of motion.
Looks cool in theory, but for anyone who isn't a VR-Hardened smooth-move aficionado, this is going to drastically increase the amount of vomit existing in the world.
A better option might be to let the player land in the water and then give them a short timer to recover before they sink under and are teleported to a checkpoint.
