Hehehe, Welcome to Mumbai, a chaotic and polluted city that unprecedentedly gave a depression, I was there, working in BKC Bandra East and living in Bandra West. My cup of tea was Europe but my former employer decided, Mumbai was my posting. A horrible mistake by MIDA.
If I'm not mistaken, Hindi is the official language, not the national language. In Mumbai, Maharashtra, the local will write and speak in Marathi, but the educated people can write and speak in Hindi. I also had learned how to write and speak in Hindi before I reported for duty in Mumbai, in December 2008, few weeks after the terrorist attacks in the city centre.
If you are still in India and you like visiting UNESCO world heritage sites, do visit Agra and the cities in Rajasthan especially Jaipur and Udaipur. A back water cruise on Keralan traditional boathouse in Allepey could be interesting. Shimla and Manali in Himachal Pradesh, the foothills of the Himalayan range, is quite lovely during winter.
If you are still in Mumbai, and you want to taste a delicious briyani, go to Lucky restaurant on linking road in Bandra West, one of the best in town, not that far from Boojee.
Hello Yad Welcome to my city where I have lived for 58 years . Quite surprised. To see u didn’t enter the fabulous caves of elephanta . They are a world heritage site and have huge sculptures inside the caves which were defaced by the Portuguese. They are religious sculpture & u will not understand the beauty unless u have a certified guide to explain it . Missed out a fantastic opportunity to understand the complexity of Hinduism . Mumbai is like New York , very fast , very wealthy , very cosmopolitan, and Mumbai is impossible to navigate in cars & road transport . It’s better to use the local trains and metro and use the auto rickshaw which have meters on which u pay an honest price . Enjoy Mumbai in the rains .
Thank you so much for the information! We didn't go inside because they did not allow us to film and i wanted to show what it's like inside on the video. I'm looking forward to sharing more of this incredible city!

If you're in India, I highly recommend exploring the breathtaking destinations this diverse country has to offer. Kerala, known for its stunning landscapes and rich cultural heritage, should be at the top of your list. Don't miss the unique experience of cruising through the backwaters of Alleppey on a houseboat, it's truly awe-inspiring. In Munnar, make sure to visit Suryanelli and Meesapulimala for their mesmerizing beauty, and Wayanad for the wonders of Edakkal Caves, Soochippara Falls, and Chembra Peak. Meghalaya will mesmerize you with its stunning attractions and breathtaking waterfalls like Phi Phi Falls, NohKaLikai Falls, Wari Chora, The Living Root Bridge, Mawlynnong, Nongjrong, and Krem Chympe. Mizoram entices visitors with the scenic beauty of Reiek Tlang, while Sikkim offers attractions like the pristine Gurudongmar Lake, the vibrant city of Gangtok, the picturesque Tsomgo Lake, Lachen, Lachung, Yumthang Valley, Pelling, and Yume Samdong. In Arunachal Pradesh, embark on an adventure to Dong, Tawang, Ziro Valley, Sela Pass, Bhalukpong, and Roing, where you can immerse yourself in the unparalleled natural beauty and cultural richness of the region.
