Interesting fact on asparagus, a tin of asparagus was once included in American pilots ration kits...if they went down and got stranded anywhere there was water, they could eat the asparagus, pee into the river/lake/ocean and it would attract fish.
Joe didn't explain why avocado was named "testicle" because they always hang as a pair on trees where one hanging lower than the other!! Lol

The only correct answer for best option is Chocolate dipped strawberries. Combining two of the things. Plus, it's one of my favorite foods that exists.
NICK may have a latex allergy. I cannot eat watermelon avocado tomato or any fruit related to the rubber tree that latex originates.
Why did Jillian pronounce asparagus as "asper grass"????????
She sounded like my grandpa when she said that. When he was still alive that's exactly what he would call asparagus. I think it's more of an older generation (like boomers) thing to call it that, so Jillian may have an older relative who calls it that.

I absolutely absolutely love love artichokes!!! You peel off the leaves and then scrape off the “meat “inside. And then when you get to the center, you scrape off the nasty hairs in the “heart “. It’s sounds way more weird and disgusting than it really is. It’s absolutely delicious!!!!!

so wait im allergic to strawberries naturally so I've stayed away from "berries" in general (blueberries, raspberries, etc.) and it took a youtube comment for me to learn that strawberries arent berries XD so do you think I'd be okay eating Rasp/Black berries?
@@auraguardianemerald6667 I am not a medical professional so I do not feel comfortable saying one way or another but I will say this: you are allergic to something IN strawberries, medical/genetic testing should be able to tell you exactly what part of the strawberry you react to and then you can find out which other fruits contain that exact molecular compound and just avoid those and probably open up your fruit world to some amazing experience.. blueberries, blackberries and raspberries are all amazing and you're not allergic to botanical berries. In botanical terminology, a berry is a simple fruit with seeds and pulp produced from the ovary of a single flower. It is fleshy throughout, except for the seeds. It does not have a special "line of weakness" along which it splits to release the seeds when ripe. I.E. pomegranate, blackberry, strawberry, raspberry are NOT berries but a small list of things that are includes bananas and plantains, blueberries, cranberries, coffee berries, gooseberries, red-, black- and white currants, tomatoes, grapes and peppers as well as all gourds and melons
