I tried this on my husband over the weekend and it came out great! I dont usually use products, I use a mix of oils but you were right about how much of a difference using products make on the braids
Shaena Lawyer oh yay wow I’m so glad you shared this with me. Sometimes I wonder if my videos are actually helping people practically. I hope you continue to have success with his hair! I bet he’s happy LOL
This was a great vid and encouragement all around. Thanks for explaining about hair health, as well as the uplifting of brothas and women needing us. You said it well that while we love our sistas, some don't make it easy to lead and love. BUT let's pray through it all. We need each other openingly more now with 2020 being the way it is and whats to come. Stay blessed and best to you on your future dreams
I found this design on the internet and I have wanted it for a while but couldn't find anyone to do it and now I can finally get it thanks to your video. I appreciate you soooooo much for posting this
I have just started using Brazilian yarn on my cornrows because my hair is thick, coarse and has low porosity. I am really hoping that my local drug or department store has my gel, because I learned a lot in this video and hope my braids come out better and last longer than a week. With ot without extension hair, after about four days, my hair style starts looking like a fuzzy sweater. Lol. His hairstyle was a great transformation. Thanks for sharing.
My husband has that same type of hair. His hair is brittle especially when I comb it with a wide tooth comb. He is naturally and been growing his hair since March. The top, sides and nape of his neck grows fast but the middle is the shortest of all the areas of his head. Not sure what to use to get that growing more for him. Do you have any suggestions? His hair is also lacking protein 2. Wonderful and very informative video.
I've been braiding my friend's hair for over a year now, but I've noticed for about 2 months now after I've washed, cond, with a hot oil treatment either every week or every other week he started getting what I call "cradle cap". Especially mid-way towards the back of the neckline. I only used natural oils like olive oil, peppermint, rosemary, black seed oil, black castor oil at different times of course. Please keep in mind his hair doesn't smell after a wash nor does his scalp appear dry, but in my defense, he does take a nerve medication for an old injury. We've never had this problem before. Can you help me with some suggestions? What do you recommend?
Hi. I'm sorry to hear that. Honestly I'm not an expert on that but I came across this article I think you'll find helpful: www.healthline.com/health/cradle-cap-in-adults#causes
I just started to braiding my own hair and my son's hair and i cannot for the life of me grip the skinny pieces at the beginning of the braid. i want to do styles like this on my own head and I just can't grip. I have short nails and I still can't do it. do you have any advice on how to grip the small pieces of hair without putting too much tension?
If you add grease to the hair (not the scalp) it's not exactly bad, you just need to make sure to use a clarifying shampoo to wash it out periodically. The idea is that, you want your hair strands and scalp not to be clogged up preventing the moisture in water from being able to penetrate it.
Whenever I braid 4c low porosity hair, I always get so much frizz in the braid and I try to add as much product as I can. The hair is even blow dried so Idk why I get so much frizz. I add a lot of product to the scalp and get that sleek but the actual braid is always frizzy... any advice?
I’m glad you’re not doing as many tutorials because I’ve only seen this one via another channel reviewing it and I have a migraine and I’m disgusted by the way you think and group all men together. Hope you don’t have a son. For his sake.

Please dilute your oils when you use them if you don’t already. Good luck I hope everything goes well
@@joseortiz-fw7by what do you suggest I dilute with?
Nice braids, what do you call this style?
So what did you use for the protein?
Nice hair 👌 style
Thank you
This woman has her mind in the right place
Very nice!
His braids look lit.
He looks like he got his hair done straight up in Wakanda. She's very gifted
i like how she braid where she from?
That's DOPE, I'm coming to your shop.😁
Very creative, loving the style for men. I have a suggestion instead of using the white rubber band use black., think it would look more professional.
The reflection of light makes it look as though they're not black but they are. 🤗
i need some tips how to grow my hair to have a braid. any cream or hair food to use
Lots of water and vitamins. A healthy diet/exercise routine usually helps me with hair growth.
Great info
Thank you

Is it better to get a line up before or after I get the braid's? I was thinking before so that my hairline don't get pushed back but I could be wrong

So Greasing the hair isn't a good idea so what products can I use to keep my hair moisturized
If you add grease to the hair (not the scalp) it's not exactly bad, you just need to make sure to use a clarifying shampoo to wash it out periodically. The idea is that, you want your hair strands and scalp not to be clogged up preventing the moisture in water from being able to penetrate it.

it wont repair HIS SPLIT ENDS ..THEY HAVE TO GO
super curly hair is the perfect texture for beautiful braids
