There is NO WAY the City of Los Angeles is going to train their bus drivers to use a Byrna. They would rather just replace them when they are killed on the job. Also, kenitic rounds are the only rounds legal to use in California; talking about "when loading a Byrna".
This PR/Spokesperson for Byrna needs a new job. Seriously NO County is gonna put their drivers let alone the company in a liability issue by letting thier drivers carry Byrna’s let alone do pay for training. You seriously gotta stop with the stupid PR stuff to sell Byrna.
@@HappyBuzzCut I purchased mine when the gas rounds were still available in Commiefornia. I load two magazines with four kinetic and one gas round in each mag. Fortunately I have yet to use them. We just returned from a glamping trip a few days ago. I took my Byrna and a five shot revolver. The revolver is for the "castle doctrine" purpose. The Bryna is in the tow vehicle when driving.
Why are you guys marketing to California, using an incident that happened in Los Angeles , then you go on to talk about loading rounds , and you mention chemical rounds? People in California and all of LA cannot purchase or own chemical ammo its illegal!
Not sure where you live but it is illegal for a passenger or driver to carry any type of gun, weapon, pepper spray, baton ANYTHING on a city bus, so she could not stop it, but someone on the street could have
This rider's behavior was abhorrent, especially given the essential nature of public transportation and the service the workers provide. Calling someone a "transient" only makes people more afraid of homeless people. Being homeless is hard enough. Making them out to be violent only makes it less likely that we'll try to do something to help them. For whatever reason, the would-be rider didn't have or wouldn't present the necessary money, but it may have nothing to do with being transient. Or maybe being transient is because they are poor. Also, do we even know they were homeless? In any case, no excuse for behavior, but let's try to blame someone's behavior on a group to which we think they belong.

So use kinetic then. Byrna's kits are designed to be used in all states so they will not contain pepper rounds
