Anyone else pop the Saturn disc into their CD players back in the day? I did, pretty frequently. So cool that you were able to do that. Don't need to buy the soundtrack, you already have it! Did it with this and Fighter's Megamix. And sometimes Sonic R...but I don't want to talk about that...>_>
Even though had virtua fighter 2 with my Saturn at the time but didn't know that you could listen to the music in a CD player guess when being really young certain things you never realise.

@@Mitsuraga I dont get it, couldnt have they just directly recorded from the Arcade board if they stood that low and it would still sound similar to the "arcade" version? Not saying they should have used the arcade music, frankly they should have had the option for both but this on its own is way superior than the arcade version.
Look, man. I'm no technical expert. I don't know how all this stuff works or why the music needed to change. For all I know, the Saturn allowed for more complex music than the Model 1 arcade board, and the composer(s) were eager to use that to expand on the game's tunes. In any case, I agree that the arranged version of the VF1 soundtrack is overall better.
Sega of Japan didn't listen to Peter Moore when he told them the direction the industry was heading and decided to pull the plug on everything as a political move to stop Sega of America from effectively gaining control of the company. Here we are, 20 years later and Sega's most successful franchise is Yakuza, the exact type of game Peter Moore told them to make. Sega deserves everything that's happened to them.
This is the Sega in the 90's best time, a truly legend!
I love his VF2 theme VF2 has my favorite music.
SEGA για παντα
Vf1 and vf2 Akira themes are the best
3:17 goosebumps all over the place
Still does!
TO THIS DAY!!!

+Ryan Murtha
I did that with Sonic CD all the time.
Living in the city. you know you have to survive
That's why I still have mine.

Yup same with PS. Used to do it with SF Alpha, Toshinden, Tenchu, Tekken, and a few others.
JUUNEN HAYAINDAYO!!! Best quote I ever heard when he wins.
"Ora, ora, oraaaa!"
Sega Saturn are the themes that are AST and the arcade one is the OST which is original.
i actually thought that this was made by snk for a second, why is this song so GOOD?
What are you talking about? All music for the original 3 VF games is goated.
Bro, if you weren't there for the 90s, Video game music was ELITE and Sega's in-house musicians had something special 👌🏾👌🏾
初代の晶のテーマかっこよすぎ
This deserves a metal cover
Mannn what a legend
Well, I know for a fact that the AST version of Dural's theme plays in the arcade version of VF1.
Perfect game!
“JUUNEN HAYAIN DAYO!” 👊🏻😠

Ju Nein Hyan Dyau!
Saudades
I don't think so, because I saw a Saturn gameplay on this and it was the exact same song as this remixed fighting Akira.
Was my inner foot dealt pain by looking up too high outside
Does my descension explain
WORRRRRRRRRRRYAAAAAAAAAAH! OSH!
Sega Saturn FTW!!! BTW Ora Ora!
Actually it's the other way around. AST is Arcade Sound Track while OST is the Saturn version.
bartdude82 AST is Arranged SoundTrack, and OST is Original SoundTrack.
This is just 2nd Impact's round transition theme lol
Sega of 90s the king of arcades
Look up SHAKATAK - ENDURANCE, some fun similarities!
このbgmよかったよねー

@DarkZholt Arcade Sound Track
AST? What is it, Alternate Sound Track?
Anyways, awesome xD
Arranged soundtrack. Home console arcade ports often had to change the music, due to differences in hardware.

@@lastone032085 kinda facts doe 😔
Sammy acquired SEGA in 2004 and SEGA were never the same again.
This is the Sega Saturn version. The best remixed tracks of any virtua fighter game. Vf2 had arranged music and sucked!!.
Akira's arranged theme in VF2 is better than this one
Definitely disagree with that, the arranged themes in VF2 were great, they definitely didn't suck in the least.
