As a dreampop/post-rock/ambient aficionado, I find this so powerful, beautiful and masterful. Without being totally in this kind of music you didn't just nail it, you made something Four Tet-worthy. You are such a titan. Thank you, Nahre.

It's amazing how chords and their progression can re-contextualize those repeated patterns you first created. It made me focus on different parts of it at different times, seeing them in a new way, which at first never did and never would occur to me without those said chords underneath them. At first they were just notes and rhythm, but by the end of it I could piece out and recognize those different emotions you mentioned you were feeling. It makes me realize better that music can be such a good analogy for life. Technically nothing is really new. We humans all feel the same emotions more or less, have lived and played out the same themes and stories, but its our own individual character and choices that can redefine and re-contextualize them in an order that matters and is meaningful. To ourselves hopefully, and to those around us that care to listen.

Some of the most fun I've ever had with music was just a Microkorg and a looper. It's not a great way to compose songs, but it's awesome as a form of meditation and to learn and explore and generally just have fun.

    I hear it.
The anxiety of the constantly repeating rhythmic phrase. The accepting feeling of the chords as they hold and resolve. Both together sounds like a mature person experiencing anxiety. They know it's going to be okay, but still the anxiety persists.

To me it's sort of the opposite-the loop is perfectly fine, just the underlying rhythm of daily life, small, unassuming, but there's the buzz of ominous small shifts going in and out of phase with that grounding loop.

@@onimekyo7633 you need to ask yourself what are you going to use it for. Is it for live performance? Studio? Both? How many loops (tracks)do you want to have? How many minutes want for looping? Do you want a floor pedal or table top? It is confusing but these are the questions you to think about. Just starting out, a simple pedal is the Roland RC-1 Loop Station, stereo looping. Personally I use the Roland RC-500 pedal and the Boss RC-500 table too. There’s so many companies making loopers. Like I said, those are the questions you need to ask yourself before making a decision. I hope I didn’t confuse you more.

@@onimekyo7633 then the RC-1 is probably the best one for you. Simple, basic and easy to use. Now there’s others out there that do the same with ease of use. I just like Roland for the quality and features that suit my needs. Check out Sweetwater music and look at the selection they have then go to eBay and find a used one you like for a cheaper price and see if like it. And won’t spend a lot of money.

Said "yes" with conviction, grabbed some better headphones and..yes. Timing of each chord change (3:36 - amazing) was yes. Root note at 6:20 with just that harmonic-y hint of major left was yes. Love this phrase repeated over and over with subtle professions. Also this reminds me of my trip out West to WA. Loved watching the footage! I need to get my hands on a synth! Software ain't enough!

I found it perfectly suited to describe the feelings of a long road trip! The trance-like melody captures the droning hours on long stretches of highway and the loop hits the uncertainty of moving to a new home, but not in the kind of exploratory adventure mood where you have no idea where you're going. It creates the sense that destination is known but anxiety remains from leaving the old home. I think it's a perfect match for your feelings.

very surreal seeing an interstate toll booth that I drove through every time I went back home from college. Beautiful chords!
