Oh my heart. I’m crying tears of happiness watching his remarkable progress. His hind legs and hips were so atrophied, it’s a tribute to his therapist and to the resilience of this pup that he has come so far. ❤️🌹❤️
I cried the whole video. This little guy going through hard and I know painful therapy he remains the happiest puppy in the world. To see how many people Love and care for him is amazing. The heros in life aren't famous people, great Athletes or rich people, it's Phelps and the care team that love him and are doing there best to help this little boy. How could anyone not route for this little boy? Nobody I know. He is so amazing and inspiring don't you agree??❤❤

I just cried the entire length of this at first it was tears of Sadness for him. I don't blame the owner who surrendered him. He did take care of him for longer than any breeder would have breeders will sometimes kill or Euthanize a boy like this and babies born with hydrocephalus, Cleft Pallet or lip Pallet. Giving him up was the best choice you could see Phelps was well nursed by his Mama dog and he was a chubby little boy with a shiny coat. That person could never afford the money and the time to give Phelps the greatest chance of walking so he gave him up at 12 weeks old. I hope now if that owner has a swimmers puppy they would give them up as soon as they realized that because its best to start correcting the condition at 2 weeks old. I cried as I watched Phelps do so many things and all the time and pain I am sure he has but he remains such a happy little guy. 😢❤❤ I know French Bulldogs are too closely inbred which causes the Cleft Lips, cleft Pallette's also Hydrocephalus and swimmers. I wish this little guy nothing but the best of care, greatest of health, getting up to walk and a very Loving Happy Long life. I would like to get a picture of Phelps to put up in my home and I hope he could autograph it for me by just putting one paw on an ink pad and then pressing it to the photo. I don't want autographs of famous people, famous athletes. I WOULD WANT Phelps autograph above all of those people. The Bottle Brigade you people are my heros and all people who work and volunteer to help save as many dogs as we can. Till Euthanize of healthy pets is made illegal in the United States and The World. One state out of 50 states has banned Euthanasia for healthy dogs and cats. The great state of Delaware. I live in Upstate Ny in a rural community 8 hours north of New York City. I have tried my best to help save lives. I have adopted 4 dogs from Kill shelters in North Carolina and as I got to know my 4 fur kids, I can't believe I saved them mere hours from certain death. I just couldn't believe after I have gotten to know them how could anyone not want them. There the most beautiful kind loving ❤️ dogs. The senior dog I saved he was 9 when I got him here he is now 10. How could people have him since he was a puppy till 9 years old and give him up because of having 2 kids and getting another Puppy when the first child was a year old. When there first born turned 2 and the puppy now over a year old. The Loving dog was who had to go. He is one of the best fur children I have ever had. I only wish I got him younger. He is amazing like Phelps. ❤ God Bless you Phelps and we know no matter what happens you will always be loved ❤️ ♥️ and cared for a very long happy Life.❤❤

He is trying si hard and doing so well with all your help. I'm sat here with tears down my face.i nearly lost my 17 year old Yorke cross to a heart attack later week it was a close call but somehow he came back to me ,he's almost blind d and deaf but I love him and can't let him go.😢 not yet.
I know how you feel I was Dog Dad to the most amazing 2 Furgirls ever. Not related but bonded. 18 years old and 19 years old they passed away. I begged God to take how many years were left on my life and give those years so we all passed away at the same time. They were the best Emotional Support Dogs, the best Antidepressant, the best listeners, no matter what relationship I was in and it ended, I still had my girls who always were happy to see me, the best snuggles, I didn't ever read tissue for my tears they licked them from my face and said dad let's get up and go outside and throw ball. That picked me up. I never slept alone with them.
I lost my 2 kitties within four months of each other. The boys didn't like each other when I first got the younger kitty. Pumpkin had been used to bring the younger one before my Gabbie died. Maxie Cat was a stray by my aunt's friend's house and needed a loving home. I thought I wasn't ready for a new kitty, but he snuggled his way into my heart. Pumpkin developed diabetes and actual lasted a whole year longer than my cousin thought he would. He knew I needed him after my mom's death. Maxie Cat missed him terribly. Pumpkin died at the beginning of January and Max went suddenly at the beginning of May. The vet said he had either a heart attack or stroke from the description I gave her. She worried she had missed something at his last vet visit, but the records said his heart was fine. I just about gave up after he died. It was years before I could talk about them without crying. Our fur babies have a special place in our hearts and leave big holes when they are gone.
This is so sad. Poor baby, I wish him all the best. This makes me cry.😢😢

I had a kitten born with the same malady on the back legs. I worked with him some, but he rehabbed himself playing with his two sisters. There is very little evidence now, 2 years later that there was any problem. Only when he "runs" do you notice a difference. Then, he hops like rabbit with his back feet.

I think this is just awful people breeding these dogs and getting as much as 5K for one. This is what happens. This dog is lucky to have care. Adopt and stop shopping.
