Picking Up Beach Trash as the Sun Rises (July 6, 2024)

I'm an early riser. I also try to stay active. When the weather is nice, I like to pick up rocks and trash at my neighborhood beach. I post pictures of my full plastic bags fairly regularly on a popular neighborhood group on Facebook with over 35k followers and was accused by a couple of people who don't know me of just showing picture of my personal trash in an attempt to get recognition from the community for doing something I didn't do. I know it's a foreign concept to some, but there are people who care for more than themselves. There are people who are frustrated at the mentality that it's not a big deal to leave trash on the ground. There are people who will pick up trash left by strangers and properly dispose of that trash. I don't do this for recognition, but to raise awareness. Most walk by this trash either unphased or oblivious. In this video, you will see a fanatical litter picker upper. Hopefully, you find this enjoyable and therapeutic.
