All those lenses are great companion for your underwater camera but which one fits best your needs?
Very informative video. Would you suggest the UCL 67 or CMC1 to go with a Panasonic LX7 in an Ikelite housing? I already have a UCL165, but want more magnification.
The CMC-1 is the stronger lens on the market and has low aberration. If you stack two UCL165 it will be flexible but less optical quality
Great Video. Thanks. Which lens would you recommend for Canon S120 compact? I like to do small macro such as Sheep Nudis. Thank you
I would recommend the
CMC-1 or Inon UCL-70 for very small nudis
I have the UCL-90 paired with my Olympus 60mm macro and I shoot almost all of my nudi shots with it. I find the UCL-90 to be very sharp and I can get some really great shots with it. I am looking for something a bit stronger for ultra super macro stuff (1 - 5mm sized) and wondering which would be the best option between the UCL-67 and CMC-1. I know the CMC-1 gives 2:1 with the 60mm macro lens, wondering what the UCL-67 will give on the 60mm macro lens.
As per test the UCL-67 has the largest magnification so it is the strongest option out there
Great video! do you find the CMC-1 image quality is sharper than the inons?
You can see the results for yourself in this video. I would say that the CMC-1 is lighter for sure and optically same or marginally better
