*C stands for *Carnage. Wouldn't be C class if you didn't have the guys out front doing all the jumps, just barely, for the whole race, then struggling to get back to the tents with arm pump, while the pile of guys on the ground behind them is slowly getting back up because they figured that the race is as good a time as ever to try sending it to pass the guy in front of them. lol
Well defenetly very nice riding for a year and a half. But yea, like said in other comments - less clutch and more down shfting. Even though its a slight sand track, you should use ur engine to slow yourself before a turn with downshifting. Then youll be able to blast the turn in the right gear with no clutch. A few good drills for that track would be: 1. No clutch at all and no foot off the footpags. 2. Left hand behind your back for the whole track for 3 laps and then 3 laps with both hands but no clutch, then 3 laps with clutch as needed. Keep it up and enjoy it, fuxk the haters bro. Is this a track or a highway covered with dirt? Very smooth. Sandbagging? I see it this way, until your lining up at a national, you'll always be a local fast guy. The real fast guys who line up at nationals, don't risk themselves messing in the C class.
Definitely not sandbagging but if any of ur local tracks to practices in sessions like a b c then try practicing in the b class and see who you keep up with and improve from there alot of the kids in my class do that
If you collected enough for the B class I would sign up. Even get in the B class just for safety.. ha at least here where I live beginner or C class can be some dangerous s*** from guys pushing too hard not knowing how to handle the bike.
Usually local rules mean you have won a certain class many times. You’re a C rider, enjoy it before you move up….and work on your gearing, I’d advise in practice try to ride the track with a single gear amd no clutch. Eventually you’ll know the gear that pulls the best and settles in corners the best. Old school fast guys would remove your clutch lol
Yeah I went out for my third ever race a couple weeks ago and placed 2nd and 3rd in both classes with 25 riders n haha ur right I needa shift the bike 🤣🤣
@@DasanByrdno you don’t need to shift the fact that you stayed in 3rd at a decent speed and held it consistently is what you want stay away from The clutch as much as possible and keep going like you are that other guy doesn’t know what he’s saying you were ripping buddy
Try and get to 4 th on that track and really rip , the guys on star Yamaha team put their clutch all the way up to Avoid shifting so much so they can learn how to hold a steady speed through the track and not rely on your clutch

@@DasanByrd you definitely ride well just need to clean up those corners. You honestly don’t really need to clutch a bike unless it’s a super deep rut or very wet. @@PBYZB 100% bro if I shifted down and didn’t rely on the clutch to bail me out and play with the power I’d be able to exit cleaner and smoother and that would obviously make the corner faster all around if I shifted down in 90% of the corners in the video I’d have the power to get out of them without relying on the clutch especially like you said with a four stroke 250
