Mostly jockstrap is common or regular trunk/briefs. Never tried on a thong though. But I think some dont use anything under if they wear leggings that are of a thicker material.
Yeah, I myself never tried on the thong. I'm not sure if I see the purpose of when you're running at the moment.
The purpose of a thong is the same and a jockstrap lol it’s to support the male private parts
we do wear jocks, at least for me, they are my favorite

@@Juice84 I watched your podcast episode about the jockstraps and thongs and to me a thong is no different then a jockstraps many people use jockstraps and thongs. Both underwear can be used for either sports, personal wear, or for sexual purposes. One is not better then the other it’s just a matter of choice and in terms of being revealing that depends on the person who is wear either one. When we see you in the videos your body is very revealing. We see your dick print and your ass. So no one can say thongs are revealing or jockstraps it’s the person wearing them and they chose to dress with them. I have wore full suits with a thong and it never revealed anything
@@Juice84 thongs and jockstraps are no different they both are underwear that most men don’t wear. They both are considered taboo to most men. Thongs and jockstraps are only revealing if the person who wears them want it to be. Both type of underwear can be wore for sports, everyday wear, or sexual purposes. If a man is comfortable wear a type of underwear that has his whole ass out with no support he has no room to criticize a thong which supports penis and ass. The whole point of underwear is to support the male private parts. Your private parts are your dick and ass.

Wow! I would like to join this conversation. I myself am team thong all the way! I pretty much wear thongs daily. And I actually do wear male thongs at the gym. I first have my thong, then the compression shorts( underwear type), and finally my shorts. I am also a competitive runner who does 5Ks, 10Ks, and Hall half marathons. And yes, I wear thongs for running. Again, my thong, compression shorts, and then my actual running shorts. Honestly, it's the best feeling, and keeps everything in one place. I used to wear nothing underneath my compression shirt, and my junk would stick to my thighs, and I'd have to do the awkward adjustments in public. Then, I tried a thong, and never looked back. I have worn a jockstrap before, and really didn't like it. For one, I don't like the way I look in it, and two, I've had issues with the butt straps. I find that you have to keep straightening them out, vs. a thong, well, the strap is going to be in one place. After the initial adjustment in the front and back once you put it on, everything pretty much stays. And lastly, I always change in and out of my thongs in the gym locker room, and NO ONE has ever given me any problems. I mainly get looks out of curiosity, and some to get a kick out of it's but remain respectful. My buddy jokes with me when I'm changing, asking if it was lady's night at the club the night before. And I did have one guy joke with me by saying, "Wow, you have a banana hammock! Are they comfortable?" I told how comfortable they were, and suggested he try them out. He said he wouldn't feel too comfortable with some going between his cheeks. I say go for it. They're comfortable, and are a major confidence booster.

I find jockstraps incredibly uncomfortable. A breathable thong might work. But I haven’t come across an athletic thong yet. When I’m active he pretty much goes into shrink mode so he stays in his pillow.
Yeah, it sounds like male thongs are used for different occasions.
Many male dancers -- including all male ballet dancers -- wear a garment called a "dance belt" which is a type of thong. Now perhaps you don't think ballet or other forms of dance are a sport. And you would be wrong. Ballet is as much of an athletic endeavor as anything else done with the body. And thongs ARE worn for ballet. Any guy who has shared a locker room with ballet dancers would know this.
There are even some male gymnists who wear thongs under their attire when they engage in certain routines.
I’m not talking about dancers. I’m talking about male athletes football, baseball, basketball, wrestling shall I continue? I’ve participated in all these sports including track and field. And I’ve never and I’ll repeat never seen a man in a thong! Say what you will but it’s not athletic gear!
