I root against Rampage because he sets a bad example for his young followers. Jumping from $2/5 stakes up to the nosebleeds is never a smart financial decision. Also it showed that he has been lying about where his money comes from. To move up to those stakes he has to have some sort of trust fund, but wants his fans to see him as a rags to riches story. I know he won a tournament for a couple hundred thousand, but that's not nearly enough for him to have jumped up in stakes the way he did.
Why hate cause you can’t do it … he wins tournaments hence the jump in stakes all u punk flunky players do is hate rampage is 100% the most transparent player in poker he shows his L’s he shows his Win’s don’t hate bro
@@winstonwinston3487that's not enough to buy into games for half a million though. He has to be selling action, that's what most of these high stakes pros do whether you guys want to believe it or not. If the 500,000 on the table, maybe 50,000 of it is his, that's why he can play the way he does. If you're buying into games for 500,000 with your own money, you should have at the bare minimum 12-13 million in funds. Not assets, actual funds, and I don't think he has that, as well of as he is. Plus he just posted his video from 2023 and he lost like 400 grand for the entire year. He's a smart kid who's done very well for himself and I'm happy how far he's come, but when these guys buy into these games, they rarely have more than 25% of themselves. Rarely.
At the end of the day rampage is still a child and hasn't had to experience normal variance and is highly susceptible to tilt. His ego has grown way larger than his ability to play the game correctly, ironically airball is the poster child for that affliction. Rampage got to play way over his ability before ever actually learning the game because his UA-cam and merch line pays for that privilege. In this video his bets and calls are similar to some kid hitting the table on his 21st birthday, absolutely no reason he should have gotten hammered this bad.
I think the idea was fine, he had 48% equity and would have had a decent chance against most cards except vs high pairs, and considering the odds of the opponent folding, it was +ev move just that it was extremly risky. Not good bankroll management yeh
Rampage poker play begs the question. Who is bankrolling these losses?? Rampage is not a crypto millionaire. He is not some rich trust fund kid. He is not a hedge fund manager. So I am asking myself whose money is this guy punting?? He has not binked any big tournaments lately. Does WPT Global pay 6 figures???
When youve been getting lucky so often you get into a very bad habit of thinking youre a good player and that it's going to continue. This is when you separate the average from the best who is humble and knows how to limit his lossses when running bad.
Rampage not mentally there and not thinking straight. Therefore, the results speaks for itself. He probably have some personal issue at home from the look of it.
I've only watched the first hand so far, and it's shocking to me that rampage even got to ever playing these stakes with the way he plays. That river jam with AJ was just atrocious and an unbelievable overplay.
Ethan is so unreal bad. The following he built from his vlogs were from A.) Completely ripping off Brad Owen (who btw remains one of the best dudes in the entire community) and B.) Not only ripping Brad off, but if you watch his first few years of vlogging, he attempts to narrate over like Brad does of what he is “thinking” except he was never thinking any of that. He simply went back and deconstructed hands afterward that had zero relation to his play. The funniest parts of them are when he comments as if he actually is thinking the things he narrates and then ends it with “except we just decide to rip it” or something that tries to explain his counteractive play vs the narration. He has always been a fraud and was lying the entire time on those vlogs
Many people posting saying his luck finally ran out just now …. Check his channel, he posted end of year video for tournaments profit/loss and was minus $435,000. He must be approaching serious financial trouble if that was all his action, but if he had sold some of himself for that session no one will want to cover him again after punting stupid 10x all ins like that
haven't watched yet but read some comments, if rampages "luck" has run out then it should have been expected, luck is always at every table and sometimes it just settles on 1 person and stays there, but eventually everyone will get their share , which is why the most valuable aspect of poker is patience ! how many times have you lost for 3 hours only to get it all back and more in 1 hand?
Raising the river when the queen comes in completing the flush is a real punt. Just call it off, take the loss and move on, you are only getting called by a flush, I know you’ve got the jack blocker so maybe you could push him off his hand, but still……
When Rampage posts his own videos, 90% of the time he is other up in cash games, or "in the money" in tourneys. Ditto with Mariano. It is these videos that showcase Rampage's true battles in Poker.

@@Scottjf8 OMG one entitled self-absorbed American on the internet! Call the Guiness book of records!
He sold stakes.
Why hate cause you can’t do it … he wins tournaments hence the jump in stakes all u punk flunky players do is hate rampage is 100% the most transparent player in poker he shows his L’s he shows his Win’s don’t hate bro
@@kalb.3002most of his money is from raking illegal games on club gg you are clueless
Dude do your research .. he binked a 25k high roller championship for 900k in 2022
@@winstonwinston3487that's not enough to buy into games for half a million though. Rarely.
The "blocker" fallacy costed him a lot. Just because you have the jack of diamonds, it does not mean your opponent can't have a flush.
Rampage always plays like this when he plays with other peoples money, always has to sell action to play in big games like this
YEah. Raising to $153,900 pre flop with Q,10. YEah. And these guys think they are good? He deserves to go broke.
I think the idea was fine, he had 48% equity and would have had a decent chance against most cards except vs high pairs, and considering the odds of the opponent folding, it was +ev move just that it was extremly risky. Not good bankroll management yeh
Finally, the luckbox gets a taste of running like a normal human being
If I ran 15% as good as he has.. I be up over 30k in poker easily
Don’t fly too close to the sun. You will get burned Rampage. Be careful.
for as many sunruns as hes had.... bound to have these once in awhile
When your fold button is broken and your all in button is too big
Rampage poker play begs the question. Who is bankrolling these losses?? Rampage is not a crypto millionaire. He is not some rich trust fund kid. He is not a hedge fund manager. So I am asking myself whose money is this guy punting?? He has not binked any big tournaments lately. Does WPT Global pay 6 figures???
ok when rampage goes all in with Q10 hes geeking ya cant miss it, wtf dude not that
When youve been getting lucky so often you get into a very bad habit of thinking youre a good player and that it's going to continue. This is when you separate the average from the best who is humble and knows how to limit his lossses when running bad.
Wow the very first hand. Punting it away 😂
Hairball was loving every minute of it
Rampage is now driving Knish's truck.
If Ethan would’ve shut up against Brandon he would’ve folded
Rampage not mentally there and not thinking straight. Therefore, the results speaks for itself. He probably have some personal issue at home from the look of it.
The same reason you checked the turn with a flush draw. 😅😅😅
Cooler most over used word in poker.
2024 poker winnings graph must look good right now.
first hand was nut straight vs. nut low flush. pretty crazy actually.
Live and die by his wild playing style.
The Q 10 shove was odd, but other than Rampage got cooler jacked.
Rampage said he lost 400k last year. Now he lost 500k in one day.
It's only money.
his ClubGG group must be raking alot! Especially when no rakeback is offered... more rake is better only when suits you
This exact hand happened to me at Parx. Nut straight vs my bottom flush on the river. Called the all in. Still gives me chills.
does he even have enough save to pay the IRS ?????
A tough start for 2024. Need a lot of hard work.
I've only watched the first hand so far, and it's shocking to me that rampage even got to ever playing these stakes with the way he plays. That river jam with AJ was just atrocious and an unbelievable overplay.
He better start making more videos
He must be approaching serious financial trouble if that was all his action, but if he had sold some of himself for that session no one will want to cover him again after punting stupid 10x all ins like that
Looks like rampage is going through what some call winners tilt.
haven't watched yet but read some comments, if rampages "luck" has run out then it should have been expected, luck is always at every table and sometimes it just settles on 1 person and stays there, but eventually everyone will get their share , which is why the most valuable aspect of poker is patience ! how many times have you lost for 3 hours only to get it all back and more in 1 hand?
Raising the river when the queen comes in completing the flush is a real punt. Just call it off, take the loss and move on, you are only getting called by a flush, I know you’ve got the jack blocker so maybe you could push him off his hand, but still……
This is what happens when you play predominantly tournaments for a year and then transition to cash game. Playing 30bb stack is not the same as 300 bb
When Rampage posts his own videos, 90% of the time he is other up in cash games, or "in the money" in tourneys. Ditto with Mariano. It is these videos that showcase Rampage's true battles in Poker.
well he was pretty open over the fact that 2023 was a losing year for him
this can lead to addiction where rampage will chase for his losses.
sometimes you are the bug sometimes you are the windshield
Wow, thought he was a loads better player than that, last hand was an absolute stinker of a call
I know how that feels, when u lose and luck isnt on your side, it is like a mud slide of a mountain, it just doesnt stop. He is soooo tilt!
Run bad is slang for a calling station
AJ hand was the worst I’ve seen rampage play. Unfortunate and shocking
The sun run is over. Rampage is a highly skilled player, but the deck has saved him more often than not in big spots over the last few years. Math is catching up with him.
Lol highly skilled.
Highly skilled? He has never been good.
Highly skilled? He has never been good.
Watched him play plenty.. he's above average at best. Bluffs too much and is too loose.m his cockyness is catching up to him.. his super crazy good luck will run out.. he been running like Jamie Gold in 2006 ..
When Raymond flips the ace he should have quickly said what’s the other one
You can see flashbacks of Airball's childhood when Raymond doesn't pay attention to his high five
Wtf is Rampunt doing!? SMH...guess stupidity has replaced humility at this point.
Rampage is looking for a new backer.
Taking the loses well is the biggest test for any pro.
The last hand he played the worse. Pot was so small. Def didnt need to get that big on the river. Standard overplay
Blood in the water, and he is paying
Dear Hustler.., I am a long time poker player, mainly 5-10 and 5-10-25 no limit, if yall ever do another show where a subscriber can win a spot to play and chips , i would be honored to play on the stream. I can afford 1-2k buy in but if there is anytime yall run again a lucky winer who gets staked to play a bigger game, I would be checking of a bucket list item by coming on and playing with these guys! I play a solid game, mix it up and overall a winning player the last 3 years running. Either way ...Great stream!!!!
Rampage was on MEGA tilt.
