He was more of a loner than the stereotypical delinquent type but he had good influences like Keiko and his school principle looking out for him, which probably kept him sane. Kuwabara might be a better example. He does the stereotypical delinquent stuff like turf wars/rivalries and fights, he defies authority but he's loyal to his friends. Dude also loves cats lol. Hajime is a little harder to place. She's got that hip-hop b-girl style ans she's unique with her accent which makes her stand out... so it kind of fits. But other than that she doesn't really seem very delinquent lol.
I just love how the brats sooner or later come to Choco-sen, it's like a universal constant that a "gaki" will gravitate to Choco-sen due to her nurturing personality

Tbf Choco-sensei is the one that said it, she has the tendency to sleep full whole days away. That or she just intended a short nap but ended up with 5hrs of sleep.😅 Edited to add the "chotto".
