You have a willingness to not only call out the errors in the ways that most people approach rapier fencing, but also recognize and talk about your own misconceptions and learning progress, something that an awful lot of people in this community are way too arrogant to admit to. You don't get caught up in the mysticism and eloquence of Thibault but you also don't ignore the granular details that are often overlooked, and I think the ability to do both of those things is really important. You are probably the #1 voice on this topic that I refer to when trying to parse out the more complex parts of Thibault and I really appreciate your entire approach to his system. If I had the money I'd absolutely see if I could get you out to Seattle, but for now I think I'll have to make do with your videos. I'm happy to have been able to find your channel at 50 subscribers and I hope to stick with it to see it reach 500 or even 5,000 subscribers.
