I just love that these interviews were conducted in the actors homes. I'm loving the photographs, the self penned books on display (shameless plug :)) The volume of encyclopaedias, that chair looked well loved too.
For me it was her scene in a limo with John Payne in a Columbo epside "Forgotten Lady" that drew me in. This was a case of life imitating art. She was amazing.
Oh of course not! THANK YOU for your viewing and your comment- Janet was a gal with PLUCK- only Debbie Reynolds could match her for pure "go get 'em" grit, IMHO- but Janet out classed even Debbie as a woman and a Mom... just my personal biased opinion
*Jimmy was good to put that funny on Tony... Because I can remember Tony teasing Marilyn Monroe on how many takes she took to get it just right! She seems like a really sweet nice lady!!*
I can't hear the interviewer which is totally unprofessional. I loved Janet Leigh in pretty much everything, but it's interesting seeing her interviewed, because she naturally has the nervy, tense energy that worked so well on the screen. She was similar off the screen to on it apparently. She was perfect for Psycho. Hitchcock obviously saw the same quality in her and used it.
I just found out more about Janet Leigh aside from her role in Psycho and her children. She is such a light in the world. Thanks for posting these.
Didn’t she star in the horror film the fog by John carpenter? Beautiful looking lady
Thanks so very much Janet Leigh so beautiful and wonderful.

watching her face when she talks about those times, she lights up.

She does. Look at her eyes. What a beauty she was.
She was still beautiful at this age, I can imagine what impact she had on men in early days.
she sure snagged a beautiful man!
@@sharksport01 They were the hollywood IT couples. And such a nice couple.
She had a very nervous energy. No insult meant, I love her personality.

Shes so cute sitting so comfortable and natural. She’s beautiful in that pink!
Janet had beautiful eyes, they were young and bright, no plastic surgery could do that.
Yes she’s a very beautiful woman! And very sweet!
Thank you
Love her in Columbo...she sort of played the same role she's doing now.
great video
I wonder if Janet Leigh ever considers being interviewed together with Tony Curtis. That would have been a good one.

soapbxprod oh wow...just seeing this now. Thanks.
so great!
Janet Leigh incredible actress
Who is the interviewer. She gets such interesting interviews.
Videographed by Luke Sacher, interviewed by Carole Langer, at Janet's Beverly Hills home September 1, 1995.
love it
Carole conducts her interviews as a DA would conduct a legal deposition, interesting concept.
Thanks for the compliment.
@@soapbxprod You're welcome ! Too bad you never got to interview Dean Martin.
Why interview Janet Leigh about Jerry Lewis?

Marion crane !!!!
She's still beautiful, but painfully thin!
Shes always been a very thin woman!
@@gracieg7601 slender, willowy,
not bone thin!
She was ill at this time sadly, and she had lost a considerable amount of weight. She was never close to being this thin on the screen.
