TRAXXAS XRT 8S Must have Vitavon Pin bar holder Upgrade Before you Bash installed on your basher

- What is going on everyone. I just wanted to show you guys the 2nd upgrade to my XRT. The Traxxas XRT seems to be breaking a lot at the front bulkhead. I have found this really nice Vitavon Pin Bar mount to help things from snapping in half. If you follow the entire video yo will see why I have decided to do this preventative XRT must do upgrade. SUper simple to install and only takes about 10 minutes.

Front upper support frame I believe will fix this issue. I just ordered that instead. Less flex.
That thin ali lug is going to snap off or split open with a heavy landing on one wheel, the steel one will move to absorb the hit, just my thought on it

great video ill be doing the same modification but iv also seen a few of the top bulkheads breaking wonder if this upgrade will help eliminate this as well

I dont think that tie bar pin mount upgrade will save the bell crank but there is a vitavon upgrade out for the stock xrt one now

I just got the XRT 8s an I noticed a little wiggle with the tires or could b what ur talking bout. What else can I do as far as upgrades would u say I should do to make the XRT better
I think the gpm bash bar is the best xrt uograde.
Still looking for a solution for the rear tho.😅

everytime you replace part with metal, the next time something else will break, you are just transfering the breaking point to another point. I would prefer to break something cheaper.
Thanks for tuning in bud. Couple of my rc trucks are almost all aluminum. I used to think the same thing. Parts would just break, but I'm here to prove that is not the case. My xrt weighs almost 30 pounds and it rarely breaks things out of the normal. With most of the parts I've got installed aluminum they help tremendously with how i drive my rc trucks

Gpm also makes something very similar. I use them on my basher xmaxx. That way you can still have metal pin retainers
@@pnwRCMADNESS are you referring to the gpm ones being better for bashing on the xmaxx ? I’m currently looking at getting them but unsure of the benefits of the gpm vs vitavon.

I now have a GPM Racing 7075 aluminum bash bar. It is my number one upgrade I recommend
