    Simple action film: Bad guy does bad thing, add couple of good guy and heroine with good chemistry, practical effects and non-stop action. Cut off all extra (you don't need to make stand against or for something in like this). Voilá excellent action film that that works decade after decade as pure entertainment.

    Hi Addie!😊 This film was a huge box office success when it came out! Everybody was going to this. Jack's boss played Miles Dyson in T2. Yep, one of the bus passengers is Ferris Bueller's best friend Cameron. Good guess on the bad guy being a cop, Addie. Dennis Hopper is very well cast as the villain. Great reactions to this fast paced and well-made film, Addie!!!🎬👏👏👏👏

    One of my all time favorite action thrillers. This is the movie that made Sandra Bullock into a star. Addies reaction is priceless. She even predicted then got excited with the first murder. I know how old I was when this movie came out, because the second time I went to watch it, they asked how old I was. "I'm 26, why?" So obsessed with this for a long time, sadly it was before the proper Internet so I couldn't get hooked up with other fans. Anyway, saw it three times in the theater, have the DVD, made both my grown-up children watch it. My daughter wondered why I'd wanted to give her a heart attack. Um, anyway, great movie - very tense but with comedic and romantic moments sprinkled in. Always enjoy watching your reactions, Addie!

    Fun fact, for the movie they actually made a bus jump, although not over an empty space, but over a continuous asphalt bridge. They used a ramp, that's why when it gets to the edge it looks like the front of the bus rises, and then in edition they removed from the film the ramp and part of the bridge to make it look like it jumped over a gap.

    This cast is loaded. The LA Tourist is Alan Ruck who plays Cameron Frye in Ferris Bueller's Day Off. The cop also plays Dyson in Terminator 2.

    Another fun Addie reaction.
    Your personality is so endearing.
    Good movie. I remember how stressful it was to watch the first time. Addie if you haven't seen it. I suggest Keanu's movie Point Break from 1991

    15:05: Actually, MythBusters tested this, along with a few other bus stunts from this film. The bus could turn and not tip at 50mph, even with the load evenly distributed. I can't remember off the top of my head if it tipped with everyone on the wrong side, so their weight was added to the centripetal force.

  • @scottmacalino656
    @scottmacalino656 6 місяців тому

    Watching a "making of speed" video they show that the bus really did make the 50mph turn(with weights attached to the opposite side for counterweight) and they did jump the bus over 50 ft for the missing highway scene(just not over an actual gap)

    One film that doesn't get reacted to enough is _Pleasantville,_ featuring Jeff Daniels who plays Harry here. Possibly my favourite film of the 90s! I would love to see your reaction to that...

    Wait a minute, I just realized something. Jeff Daniels is in this movie and dumb and dumber, both released in 1994. And his character's first name was Harry in both movies! What are the odds...

    The joke of this movie is that no bus in LA ever is likely to come close to going 50 mph, so Jack should barely have to rush to get there. If this movie followed real world rules, Jack just gets on at the next stop and tells the driver to pull over. The end. Roll credits 😂

    Many years later, Sandra and Keanu admitted to having huge crushes on each other during the filming of this movie. Neither acted upon it, and we have been robbed of a couple.
    These two would have produced beautiful, happy children, and we would likely be watching their offspring run around on screen.
    My disappointment at this is immense.
