my favorite is a dark magician/dark magician girl deck because my mom & I bonded over the anime & she passed away on jan. 15 2006 to cervical & ovarian cancer. I built a spellcaster deck based on both Dark Magician & Dark Magician Girl to honor my mom's memory who will have passed away 19 years this year. I miss her so much
My all time favorite deck is Dark Worlds, unlike other decks, this combo deck doesn't have combo lines. You have to adapt to what you have on the fly, which allows you as a player to take that skill and apply it to other decks thinking about new combos that you never would had normally done.
Lair of Darkness is my favorite, and I swear to god nobody knows it even exists. It combines super well with Labrynth cards, both archetypes being dark fiends that play with traps, and the mechanic it has of weaponizing quick play tributes to run its trap searches/recycle system makes it so much fun. Those tributes can take out anything that isn't immune to effects, too, so Lair manages to outsmart way stronger archetypes. It sucks that no one cares about it, because it probably means it's going to be forgotten and get no further support.
As a Zexal fan which ultimately traces back to my mysterious love for Xyz monsters, there are plenty of archetypes I genuinely like and find fun to play (Yuma (Utopia/Onomat/Zexal), Galaxy-Eyes (Easily my second favorite deck), Raidraptors, Battlin' Boxers, Sharks/Fish, Star Seraphs, Chronomaly, Ryzeal, Mekk-Knights (Not an Xyz archetype but I find the way they use colums to be interesting), etc.), but my #1 favorite deck, as much (or as little) as it stands on it's own these days, has gotta be Infinitrack. The lore behind this has to do with me having sent my in-person Infinitrack Xyz monster (River Stormer) from their introduction set, The Infinity Chasers to get graded by BGS (hope it comes back good!), which led me to check the deck out over in the place that I experience Yu-Gi-Oh! the best, Duel Links, where I found that not only were they actually relevant for a short time (not anytime recently tho), but that I was already working on a deck for them. With that deck having been completed, I made an anime-style decklist (plenty of one-ofs that would only be good in the style of duels you see in the Yu-Gi-Oh! mainline shows) with River Stormer as my ace (obviously), and the plan is to go onto making a deck to use in Master Duel. The cards in the archetype are based on heavy machinery (think construction site machinery) where all of the monsters are additionally outfitted with tracked treads/continuous tracks and an infinity symbol somewhere on the machine. On their own, they center around making their archetypal Xyz monsters (River Stormer, Mountain Smasher, and Earth Slicer) while tying in archetypal Links (Fortress Megaclops, Goliath) in some way (you'll see when hitting the deck overview). A great thing about the deck functionally is it's compatability with the greater EARTH Machine strategy (mashing them with Trains, Machina, Ancient Gears, etc along with generic Machine support), which uses select Infinitracks in what is ultimately a more effective strategy, but me like my decks pure, so that's what we'll be considering. Do note that every monster in the deck all share the Earth attribute and the Machine typing. As far as a "Master" format 40 card deck, I can't put my confidence into one, so i'll be mentioning the Duel Links build I use while trying to tie in more modern "Master" format cards where I can. The deck's win con is typically the following: - OTKing with big Xyz monsters (mainly through Superdreadnought Rail Canon Juggernaut Liebe). The deck mainly achives this through the following cards: - Infinitrack Harvester/Anchor Drill - Infinitrack Brutal Dozer - Infinitrack Crab Crane - Infinitrack Trencher - Infinitrack River Stormer (my boi) - Infinitrack Mountain Smasher - Infinitrack Earth Slicer - Infinitrack Goliath - Superdreadnought Rail Canon Juggernaut Liebe - Heavy Forward - Outrigger Extension Harvester and Anchor Drill typically serve as your starters, with Anchor Drill being the better Normal Summon (Level 4 that specials an EARTH Machine from your hand on Normal Summon), but if that's not an option, Harvester is a one-card starter that leads to a generally weaker combo (Level 2 that searches an Infinitrack on summon). Brutal Dozer is your main extender (Level 5 that summons an Infinitrack straight from the deck when summoned from the hand, while negating that card's effects (PLEASE remember this, I've made this mistake before and it can lead to a worse end-board)) along with River Stormer (Completely generic Rank 5 that can detach a material to take an EARTH Machine in your deck and EITHER add it to your hand OR send it straight to the grave). Trencher is an archetypal reborn (Level 5 that can banish itself from grave to reborn a Level 5 or lower Infinitrack) while Goliath (protects the Machine Xyz it's attached to from Card Destruction) and Outrigger Extension (makes all Machine Xyz on your field untargetable) serve as your protection. Crab Crane is really here for 2 reasons, 1. An extra Level 5 body to go into ANY of the archetypal Xyz (River Stormer if there's another Level 5, Mountain Smasher if you have an un-negated Harvester, and Earth Slicer if you have an un-negated Anchor Drill), and 2. Searching Outrigger Extension (by banishing a Machine from your grave). Heavy Forward is a staple at 3 copies (searches an Infinitrack on activation AND can attach to a Machine Xyz on your field as Xyz material) while Mountain Smasher (Completely generic Rank 7 that can detach a material to permanently gain 1000 ATK), Earth Slicer (Completely generic Rank 9 that can detach as many material that you want to target and destroy that many cards on the field), and Liebe (Completely generic Rank 11 that can detach a material to gain 2000 ATK for the turn) are the deck's "Boss Monsters". In terms of end boards, it depends on the hand you open (and therefore, the combo you get to take), although I can provide some fairly standard end-boards: Going First: 2 Untargetable Xyz monsters, one in Attack Position with 3100 ATK and another in Defense Position with that much Defense, while one of those Xyz monsters are ALSO immune to effect destruction. Going Second: 2 Untargetable Xyz mosters, a defense position River Stormer (500 DEF) with typically one of the 3 following Xyz as your second Xyz, who itself is ALSO immune to effect Destruction: - Infinitrack Earth Slicer (3100/2100) - Superdreadnought Rail Canon Juggernaut Liebe (4000/4000) - Divine Arsenal AA-Zeus - Sky Thunder (3000/3000) Now, before we get into a fairly standard combo for the deck, you'll need to know the following shared effects among certain cards: All Infinitrack Xyz: - Can attach a monster it destroys by BATTLE to itself as Xyz material - Can tribute a Machine Link to reborn itself All Level 5 Infinitracks (except Road Roller but shh): - Can tribute an EARTH Machine to summon itself from the hand Finally, to end off this MASSIVE comment, here's a fairly standard combo for this deck (again, in Duel Links with a PURE decklist. This deck definetly has more options if you want to add them into an EARTH Machine deck AND/OR if you want a "Master" format version): - Turn 1, start with an Anchor Drill AND a Harvester in hand (if you have ONE Heavy Forward and ONE of the 2 aforementioned monsters, play the Heavy Forward to search the one you're MISSING). - Normal Summon Anchor Drill, using its effect to summon Harvester from your hand, who searches Brutal Dozer. - Tribute Harvester to summon the Brutal Dozer you just searched, now summoning Trencher OR Crab Crane (I typically go for Trencher) from your deck. - Overlay your 2 Level 5's (Brutal Dozer and Trencher/Crab Crane) to Xyz Summon River Stormer. - Detach Trencher/Crab Crane for River Stormer's effect, sending Trencher/Crab Crane (Please note, send the one you DIDN'T summon previously with Brutal Dozer) to the grave. - Use Trencher's grave effect, banishing itself to reborn Crab Crane, then use Crab Crane's effect, baninshing Harvester to search Outrigger Extension. - Activate the Outrigger Extension, then use Anchor Drill's effect on Crab Crane to set BOTH of their levels to 9. - Overlay your 2 now Level 9's (Anchor Drill and Crab Crane AFTER USING ANCHOR DRILL'S EFFECT) to Xyz Summon Earth Slicer. - Use River Stormer as Link Material to Link Summon Infinitrack Goliath. - Use River Stormer's grave effect, tributing Goliath to reborn itself. Now the path splits depending on your (the player's) choice. I'll provide both here as a "Going First" and a "Going Second" option, but you do NOT have to adhere to those names strictly. Going First: - Activate Goliath's grave effect, attaching it to either of your Xyz. - Activate Outrigger Extension, Ranking-Up River Stormer into a *defense position* Mountain Smasher. - Set any other cards you may want to at this point, and if not, end your turn here. Going Second: - Activate Goliath's grave effect, attaching it to Earth Slicer. - If you haven't done so yet, this is your last chance to use Earth Slicer's effect to pop multiple cards. If you decide to do this WHILE Goliath is attached, make sure you DON'T detach Goliath. - Activate Outrigger Extension, Ranking-Up Earth Slicer into Liebe. - If you're in a position to go for game here (with or without Liebe's effect), you may do so, otherwise I would NOT activate Liebe's effect to have an extra attack on monsters for the turn. - If you're playing Duel Links (like I tend to with this deck), end your turn here, but if not, Rank-Up one of your Xyz Monsters (River Stormer if you don't want a 500 DEF body just kind of sitting there, or Liebe if you feel that it's not safe on the field during your opponent's turn) into Divine Arsenal AA-Zeus - Sky Thunder so you have the quick effect board wipe in your "back pocket" if need be. this has to be the longest comment I've ever typed. Worst part is that it's a _legit_ comment. I sat here for probably over half an hour straight on a weeknight typing this.
I love to hear your passion for the deck! My girlfriend has an Infinitrack/Earth Machine pile I've played against a couple times and it's really cool! I've been throwing some of it into a Superheavy build I've been working with recently and it's really cool.
The Starry Night is actually a retrain of Seiyaryu, as evidenced by the same Type, Level, Attribute, and Japanese Names. You were close though, Serpent Night Dragon seems to be the Dark counterpart of Seiyaryu based on their Japanese Name translations (Evil Knight Dragon and Holy Night Dragon)
My favorite deck is Ultra Athletes. The idea of having offensive and defensive lineups is really cool and they have the versatility to lock down boards with Perfect Ace or board break with Dreadnought Dunker. Also, they have an in-engine Dark Ruler No More with Player Manager. Some other cool things to know about the deck is that it doesn't require an extra deck making it usable in almost every Master Duel festival and can run support engines that lock the extra deck like Dogmatika. Lastly, the deck isn't reliant on normal summoned monsters so you can run the Adventure package with no downside.
My favorite deck would have to be either Heroes or Raidraptors. Heroes is a fun rogue deck that can, at times, keep up with the current meta game, and is not to be underestimated. I like Raidraptors due to the indestructible boss monsters: Ultimate Falcon, and the newer Rank 13.
Favorite deck is Shaddoll. The lore surrounding them is really interesting, the entire main deck is flip monsters (with the exception of the 2 zefras you never play) and have a mutually exclusive grave effect with their flip effect. The fusions are all powerful (with one exception) Them being corrupted souls forcibly possesing the corpses of the beings they once were due to an ability to move on and taking on a puppet-like appearance because they were being used as puppets to further Tierra in freeing itself. Their lore significance gives me vibes of my favorite Zelda Game (Majora's Mask) and a quote stated by the mask is eerily accurate to what the Shaddolls went through. Tl;dr: out of the body-horror puppets (gimmick puppets) and the literal marionettes of a greater evil (Shaddoll) I prefer the Marionettes
shouts out to the vaalmonica player. that deck really has a lot going for it, id say the biggest thing it lacks are ways to further extend past interruptions. it doesn't have a true 1 card combo to get you to everything, but typically a lot of your hands are quite malleable and can get you to most everything you would want anyway, so it just needs better extension, but on the other hand it's a deck that really rewards players that can make the most of what they're given aside from that, it's endboards are very deceptively powerful. it looks simple, but there's multiple points of interaction you have to keep track of. there's a backrow that bounces a monster and destroys a s/t, the link 1 copies vaalmonica s/ts in the gy so you can repeat that effect for an additional bounce and pop, you have a bagooska that doesn't interfere with the rest of your board (and detaching seletrice adds her back to hand, so your normal setup also guarantees some degree of follow-up on your next turn). and the link 1 also protects your board from destruction effects. the field spell is also a snatch steal on their turn provided you can time it correctly. compared to other rogue decks, there's no one card that deals with your entire setup. droplet, raigeki, dark ruler, duster. these cards either don't do anything or merely turn off *some* of your board. evenly matched kind of cooks you but it is possible to play around evenly to an extent so that you still have some interruption. or you can just keep bagooska :p besides that, the themeing and playstyle are immaculate and complement each other extremely well. unfortunately, after their second wave of support, it seemed like konami kinda gave up on them. the other valiant smashers archetypes got really incredible 3rd and 4th waves of support that took them to the top. vaalmonica...didn't really get much. they got a kinda win-more Link 2 and 2 trap cards that sound nice on paper but aren't as reliable as they read because they either don't synergize with the rest of your strategy that much or just aren't as good as what you're already doing still, ive invested quite a bit into them in master duel. they're a very fun and engaging deck, that rewards skilled play, and there's only 1 ur in the whole deck so it's quite budget-friendly as well :) tl;dr vaalmonica fun and cool and neat please play :)
My gf built them recently! The deck is dripping with theme, I love the idea of having a little angel and demon on your shoulder encouraging you to either take safe or risky actions, it's awesome. She mixed them with Exosisters which was pretty cool, since you can pendulum a bunch of nuns with the vaalmonica cards!
Memento is my favorite. A bunch i silly weird guys doing a silly graveyard dance where they trip and fall apart all the time and summon a the big guy. Silly effects like Fracture dance, the hand traps, banishing the Memento spell or trap from the grave to do mischief. Plus, Dark Hole Dragon is a free summon in it. Again and again. And that card is really cool.
I love hearing people talk about their pet decks! My main decks are Gimmick Puppet and Paleozoic but I want to give a shoutout to Amazement here. It's a fun theme with cute art, and a unique playstyle of equipping traps to things and moving them around as needed. It has a couple pretty strong cards like a once per turn monster negate in Horror House, a snatch steal type effect in Family Faces and several powerful search effects. I really like more reactive trap decks like Paleo and Amazement has a good combination of that and also needing to predict your opponent's actions. The core is pretty small, too, so you can mix it with most other trap decks, other equip-based archetypes, or my personal choice, Armored XYZ. There's truly nothing more fun than putting your opponent's monsters on Mr. Bones Wild Ride (Also been playing VS lately and it's a blast. I love hand management in board games like Root so VS scratches that itch very well in YGO)
I usually play decks that i like the art or lore of, but over time I've also learned that i love combo decks with a ton of options. For example i absolutely love pure snake-eye because no matter what hand you have, you basically always have a way to the combo ( i also love the art and diabellestar lore). One of my favorite experiences in the game is when you're looking at a seemingly bad hand, then something just clicks and you get that " i see the line" moment this also happens pretty often with unchained
Dark Magician will always be my favorite. Ever since I was a kid, the artwork of the Dark Magician instantly grabbed my attention and has been my favorite. I’m glad to be able to play Dark Magician somewhat competitively these days. It’s such a fun deck, and the card artwork for all of the support makes for a very satisfying aesthetic.
Listen I don’t know if it mentioned in the video but I love the branded archetype their my favorite cards using your opponent cards to fuse and being able to have all those fusions I just love it
Personal deck(s) is always good to hear about. The creative spirit built by the original Yu-Gi-Oh anime and other official elements lives on in that. Nothing wrong with not net decking/meta sheeping. Look at the beloved decks from each Yu-Gi-Oh series; each one was crafted by it's wielder and holds a fragment of them in it(personality, beliefs, etc.), it makes the game an art form and that's respect worthy.
My personal deck for example, while currently incomplete, cohesively combines the following Archetypes; D/D(Pendulum and regular effect monsters in main deck and NOT the hated XYZ ones, the underused Fusion and Synchro ones in extra deck.), Fire king, Labrynth and Unchained. It has a few of the spare spaces filled in with some generic utility monsters too; Tour Guide from the Underworld, Marauding Captain, Mathmech Nabla(it's a level 4 tuner, I need that level of tuner specifically for my 2 synchro monsters) and Ram clouder. The extra deck is where it will eventually get a little weird but this reply has gone on long enough.
I'm a magnet warrior player through and through. I love the strategy so much and combining it with adamancipators and fossils has made it better than ever
I can’t believe no one else said Mermail. Mermail is my favorite deck by far. The combos are complex but rewarding. The end boards are very good and the art is really good. Definitely an underrated deck.
😢yh but that's what make me happy cause everyone isn't playing my favorite deck make me feel special when I alone plays it Also the only deck which is get it effects from cost well except danger
To the guy who posted Gimmick puppet and said he loves this deck because it "Ignores opponent interaction", on behalf of 90% of playerbase, we hate you. Card games SHOULD be INTERACTIVE, not ignoring interaction
The deck is still quite interruptible even through Baby and Bisque. I play GP and aside from the times when I get lucky and FTK I've had a lot of interactive games.
Mine is and always will be Gravekeepers. When I first got into Yu-Gi-Oh, it was through Structure Deck: Marik, so it has some sentimental value to me. I also just really like the theme. All of the Egyptian themed cards are what makes Yu-Gi-Oh stand out to me. And GKs are the original archetype. Mechanically I know people tend to hate GK, but to me it's really funny and satisfying to Turn 1 Necrovalley into Royal Tribute and hand loop your opponent, especially against meta decks. When I first got into the game with my brother and his friends, they were all playing hard meta decks like Blackwing or Lightsworn and I just didn't have the knowledge or means to make a better deck, so admittedly I have a bit of a grudge against meta. But it's made me an anti-meta rogue player ever since. I love getting to play the game at my speed.
One deck in particular I will not stop talking about is Unchained Lab! WF centur-ion is a definite tie but my Lab deck is a good control deck and thanks to the E.D with Muckraker and chaos angel, those two help me out a ton!
My favorite deck was ruined by Konami when they tried to modernize it, but back in the day Bujin was such a fun deck. Resource management at its simplest. I really like Melffy as well, I think it is good enough to hold its own in most metas.
shout out to battlewasp! Love doing my 20 minute insect combo and ending with a 6k Grand Partisan equipped with the armor like "touch him, i dare you" LOL
When I got back in Yu-Gi-Oh I bought a blue eyes deck but after awhile I decided to build a new deck and I built a exo-sister deck and it coast $55 dollars to build
By far my favorite two are Dark Paladin-Dark Magician deck and my Endymion Spellcounter deck....Though honestly I have a ton of favorite decks!!! Yu-gi-oh is awesome for a reason!!!!
Good ol' Madolche. Cute as a button... And is exceptionally efficient with it's resources. Always been one of those pet decks of mine, along with Genex. Nice DMG shirt my man.
Phantom Knights are off the CHAIN!! i summon 3 dantes and a levi, get 9 mills, summon 2 draco futures, set like 2 trap cards, 4 disruptions GG. The deck can just bring out Arc Rebellion, negate all their monster effects and attack for game. They can negate a few times and ill still slide through with a breaksword to raiders knight to arc rebellion, GG. Not to mention, the card names are cool, "Torn Scales" he's like the david goggins of the deck, BAMF. They have little cutties in there too like "Silent Boots", he's a ninja, Maxx C didnt see him coming, GG.
Wouldn't say single handedly but he and Team APS definitely know how to keep the passion for the game alive. Konami owes him a LOOOOT of 💰 if we're being honest.
Favorite deck is a classic: Warriors Toolbox. Not only is thee beatdown strategy fun t do with some traps to keep my mosters same but it works SOOOO good with XYZ monsters.
My personal favorite deck is majespecter!!!! Its just an all around really fun deck to play and artwork on the cards. Currently working on getting the deck to max rarity. Ibe been playing majespecter for about a uear now and normally switch between them and playing dinos!
Well, actually, you can aleeady play with the very basic rules and try to progress by learning more rules later, everyone can choose the level they want to play.
Rank 10 trains all the way. I'ma a yu-gi boomer at heart (haven't been playing for that long I just prefer a less OTK style game) so a deck that is still good but not the Tier 1 or Tier 0 style deck will always been what I gravitate too.
We all know the lightsworns are diabolical, Id never mill myself out you run Michael and Punishment Dragon with a hundred card deck with almost three copies of the op lightsworns like lumina, lightsworns and twilightsworn because the twilightsworn work as well with lightsworn effects because twilightsworn, lightsworn is still in the card type.
the title of this video seems very aggressive yet you were the one who asked on twitter. anyways, Lair of Darkness is my favorite deck cause its soo evil and funny.
I have 2 favorite decks. The first is heroes. They're pretty strong, good for going first or second, and so long as your combo doesn't get broken, they are all gas. They do kinda lack protections, and if your opponent knows where to break the chain they can stop you dead, but if you can pop off, you've basically won. Feels great. The other is Novelles. I just love the themeing so much, making dishes out of your opponents cards is just so fun, and I just love the mechanic of getting out stronger and stronger monsters when your opponent basically does anything. Main problem is they're really susceptible to Ash Blossom, and I tend to brick a lot with them. But, still, they're really fun
Really love gem knights. They were the first like proper deck I ever built in master duel, and at all really. Got the starter deck from the solo mode and just fell in love with it from there. Sadly it isn’t to good up against modern yugioh, but I still play it when I can
_I wanted to go longer but my throat gave out._ 😔
Thats what she said
36 minutes isn't long enough. Give your fans some actual content next time and don't wimp out.
Nah, you did fine! Good content :)
🥵🥵🥵
Right before the climax.
my favorite is a dark magician/dark magician girl deck because my mom & I bonded over the anime & she passed away on jan. 15 2006 to cervical & ovarian cancer. Omg that second part of the first sentence (I love harpie's sadly they arn't great.)
@ they have gotten some support so they are a little bit better
I also love Dark magician/ Dark magician girl decks. :D
Dark Magician is my favorite as well, glad you were able to use it in a sentimental way for your mom.
@@KoerickCards_08 thank you for those kind words
People never miss the chance to whip out their deck
😂
In the words of Jack Atlas in YGO BBT Abridged:
Whip out your Junk and wave it at him! Junk Warrior
Paul Ignored the Adamancipator post harder than Konami ignores rock support.
My all time favorite deck is Dark Worlds, unlike other decks, this combo deck doesn't have combo lines.
You have to adapt to what you have on the fly, which allows you as a player to take that skill and apply it to other decks thinking about new combos that you never would had normally done.

Do note that every monster in the deck all share the Earth attribute and the Machine typing.
As far as a "Master" format 40 card deck, I can't put my confidence into one, so i'll be mentioning the Duel Links build I use while trying to tie in more modern "Master" format cards where I can.
The deck's win con is typically the following:
- OTKing with big Xyz monsters (mainly through Superdreadnought Rail Canon Juggernaut Liebe).
The deck mainly achives this through the following cards:
- Infinitrack Harvester/Anchor Drill
- Infinitrack Brutal Dozer
- Infinitrack Crab Crane
- Infinitrack Trencher
- Infinitrack River Stormer (my boi)
- Infinitrack Mountain Smasher
- Infinitrack Earth Slicer
- Infinitrack Goliath
- Superdreadnought Rail Canon Juggernaut Liebe
- Heavy Forward
- Outrigger Extension
Harvester and Anchor Drill typically serve as your starters, with Anchor Drill being the better Normal Summon (Level 4 that specials an EARTH Machine from your hand on Normal Summon), but if that's not an option, Harvester is a one-card starter that leads to a generally weaker combo (Level 2 that searches an Infinitrack on summon).
In terms of end boards, it depends on the hand you open (and therefore, the combo you get to take), although I can provide some fairly standard end-boards:
Going First:
2 Untargetable Xyz monsters, one in Attack Position with 3100 ATK and another in Defense Position with that much Defense, while one of those Xyz monsters are ALSO immune to effect destruction.
Going Second:
2 Untargetable Xyz mosters, a defense position River Stormer (500 DEF) with typically one of the 3 following Xyz as your second Xyz, who itself is ALSO immune to effect Destruction:
- Infinitrack Earth Slicer (3100/2100)
- Superdreadnought Rail Canon Juggernaut Liebe (4000/4000)
- Divine Arsenal AA-Zeus - Sky Thunder (3000/3000)
Now, before we get into a fairly standard combo for the deck, you'll need to know the following shared effects among certain cards:
All Infinitrack Xyz:
- Can attach a monster it destroys by BATTLE to itself as Xyz material
- Can tribute a Machine Link to reborn itself
All Level 5 Infinitracks (except Road Roller but shh):
- Can tribute an EARTH Machine to summon itself from the hand
Finally, to end off this MASSIVE comment, here's a fairly standard combo for this deck (again, in Duel Links with a PURE decklist. This deck definetly has more options if you want to add them into an EARTH Machine deck AND/OR if you want a "Master" format version):
- Turn 1, start with an Anchor Drill AND a Harvester in hand (if you have ONE Heavy Forward and ONE of the 2 aforementioned monsters, play the Heavy Forward to search the one you're MISSING).
Going First:
- Activate Goliath's grave effect, attaching it to either of your Xyz.
- Activate Outrigger Extension, Ranking-Up River Stormer into a *defense position* Mountain Smasher.
- Set any other cards you may want to at this point, and if not, end your turn here.
Going Second:
- Activate Goliath's grave effect, attaching it to Earth Slicer.
@ Yeah, man! EARTH Machine’s a really splashable deck for lack of a better word. Superheavys are probably a nice addition!
NGL Luna light looks like a pokemon for some odd reason! The CGI artwork reminds me of it lol!
Probably unless they use a starter deck, they personally built it so there's some attachment
Paul really carries APS man
Yeah I dont see any of the others putting a fraction of effort into the channel.
Paul carries but the other guys are pretty important. We do better together than alone
Dude don't Zzzzz....life is short,I guess.....
Raidraptor best deck!
Favorite deck is Shaddoll. The lore surrounding them is really interesting, the entire main deck is flip monsters (with the exception of the 2 zefras you never play) and have a mutually exclusive grave effect with their flip effect. The fusions are all powerful (with one exception)
Them being corrupted souls forcibly possesing the corpses of the beings they once were due to an ability to move on and taking on a puppet-like appearance because they were being used as puppets to further Tierra in freeing itself. Their lore significance gives me vibes of my favorite Zelda Game (Majora's Mask) and a quote stated by the mask is eerily accurate to what the Shaddolls went through.
Tl;dr: out of the body-horror puppets (gimmick puppets) and the literal marionettes of a greater evil (Shaddoll) I prefer the Marionettes
i will yap about red eyes a ton but by the time i saw that tweet i was late
shouts out to the vaalmonica player. that deck really has a lot going for it, id say the biggest thing it lacks are ways to further extend past interruptions. it doesn't have a true 1 card combo to get you to everything, but typically a lot of your hands are quite malleable and can get you to most everything you would want anyway, so it just needs better extension, but on the other hand it's a deck that really rewards players that can make the most of what they're given
aside from that, it's endboards are very deceptively powerful. it looks simple, but there's multiple points of interaction you have to keep track of. there's a backrow that bounces a monster and destroys a s/t, the link 1 copies vaalmonica s/ts in the gy so you can repeat that effect for an additional bounce and pop, you have a bagooska that doesn't interfere with the rest of your board (and detaching seletrice adds her back to hand, so your normal setup also guarantees some degree of follow-up on your next turn). and the link 1 also protects your board from destruction effects. the field spell is also a snatch steal on their turn provided you can time it correctly. compared to other rogue decks, there's no one card that deals with your entire setup. droplet, raigeki, dark ruler, duster. these cards either don't do anything or merely turn off *some* of your board. evenly matched kind of cooks you but it is possible to play around evenly to an extent so that you still have some interruption. or you can just keep bagooska :p
besides that, the themeing and playstyle are immaculate and complement each other extremely well. unfortunately, after their second wave of support, it seemed like konami kinda gave up on them. the other valiant smashers archetypes got really incredible 3rd and 4th waves of support that took them to the top. vaalmonica...didn't really get much. they got a kinda win-more Link 2 and 2 trap cards that sound nice on paper but aren't as reliable as they read because they either don't synergize with the rest of your strategy that much or just aren't as good as what you're already doing
still, ive invested quite a bit into them in master duel. they're a very fun and engaging deck, that rewards skilled play, and there's only 1 ur in the whole deck so it's quite budget-friendly as well :)
tl;dr vaalmonica fun and cool and neat please play :)
Bones Wild Ride
(Also been playing VS lately and it's a blast.
😢yh but that's what make me happy cause everyone isn't playing my favorite deck make me feel special when I alone plays it
Also the only deck which is get it effects from cost well except danger
@ you like Mermail too?!
I am so glad someone had the perspicaciousness to say Ancient Warriors.
I use Polymerization using Team APS + Dark Magician Girl into Dark APS Girl
My mate calls me the real-life Bastion from GX. I have over 40 decks 😂
Do you have a vest you keep them all in? 👀
I love my custom hero deck, it's fun & I love the theme. It's my deck & I love it.
Pure Brotherhood of the fire fist is one of my favorites
"Hey y'all, Paul here"
One deck in particular I will not stop talking about is Unchained Lab!
My top 5 are probably Utopia Zexal Weapon, Aromages, Battlewasp, Red-Eyes Buster Blader and Evil Hero
shout out to battlewasp! Love doing my 20 minute insect combo and ending with a 6k Grand Partisan equipped with the armor like "touch him, i dare you" LOL
wow that cookie magika fella has a really unique deck.
good video btw! love what you are doing!
There are too many archetypes and themes to know what to commit to building next.
When I got back in Yu-Gi-Oh I bought a blue eyes deck but after awhile I decided to build a new deck and I built a exo-sister deck and it coast $55 dollars to build
Man, Vanquish is what my 13 y/o self envisioned the "Element" monsters turning into
By far my favorite two are Dark Paladin-Dark Magician deck and my Endymion Spellcounter deck....Though honestly I have a ton of favorite decks!!!
Yu-gi-oh is awesome for a reason!!!!
Good ol' Madolche. Cute as a button... And is exceptionally efficient with it's resources. Always been one of those pet decks of mine, along with Genex.
Nice DMG shirt my man.
That one of my favorite too he always play why he stop playing because the deck can't win like before
Phantom Knights are off the CHAIN!! i summon 3 dantes and a levi, get 9 mills, summon 2 draco futures, set like 2 trap cards, 4 disruptions GG.
Paul is singlehandedly carrying the yugioh community
Lightsworn will forever be my baby
Gouki is my favorite deck rn
Needs support badly
THIS SOUNDS LIKE COLLEGE ALGEBRA! I want to play but it’s too many new rules 😢
Well, actually, you can aleeady play with the very basic rules and try to progress by learning more rules later, everyone can choose the level they want to play.
Looking forward to the next Master Duel stream! Thanks for putting in the effort of increased uploads!
Damn I should of commented it
I have unhealthy love for sharks
I love the 2013 Blue eyes white dragon deck and the 2005 or 2006 Zombie Madness deck
Trickstar!!!! I managed to get to Diamond in Master Duel with it! I love the 200 lp effect burn
I miss 3 sharvara
Konami with 1 card starters in new decks :)
Konami with 2 card starters in legacy support decks >:(
What is the music @ 33:07
Between edison tengu and modern I have mad decks. Plus the reprints have been great.
No preformapals?
Performapals are great!
Heroes will always be my favorite. Elemental Heroes if you want to get technical.
Pure Phantom Knight: love Xyz. love shady looking cards. and to use your graveyard as second hand 🤩
making a naturia deck. any card recommendations to put in? any hand traps, stun cards, etc? thx.
I have a custom stall/mill/burn/shutout deck. It does everything, stalls, mills, burns, stops cards from being played. 😂
Rank 10 trains all the way.
I'ma a yu-gi boomer at heart (haven't been playing for that long I just prefer a less OTK style game) so a deck that is still good but not the Tier 1 or Tier 0 style deck will always been what I gravitate too.
All these different decks and no way to play them in master duel
Plunder Patrolls. With rum. Rum is good.
Such a great video got inspired to make so many decks now.
My deck is the best every time it doesn't lose (I haven't win a game in the past six months)
2 video in 2 days ?
WOW
I would love to see meow mu come back. ;(
Big cat go brrrrrrrrrrrrr
i like this low based deck that i use skull servant
My favorite is without question suship. It’s just plain fun.
Hieratic Dragons with Horus lvl 6 and 8.
Branded Danger!.
Also Sky Strikers.
Let’s goooo TeamAPS 😤
Scareclaw best deeecckk! 😢
Just started watching i hope mine made it
I'm a fan of phantom knights.
Synchron Players assemble! 🏍️💨
CHAOS is the best deck.
My favorite deck is phantom knights
My Favorite deck is Meklords!!!
Favorite deck hard to say.
the title of this video seems very aggressive yet you were the one who asked on twitter.
anyways, Lair of Darkness is my favorite deck cause its soo evil and funny.
Pretty plain, but I did enjoy Snake-Eye.
so many great decks
My favorite is e heroes but don't play them
Battlin Boxers are meta, youll all see!
Toon supremacy
Ad rock
Adman rock
Really love gem knights. They were the first like proper deck I ever built in master duel, and at all really. Got the starter deck from the solo mode and just fell in love with it from there. Sadly it isn’t to good up against modern yugioh, but I still play it when I can
Hi
I've got... 40+ physical Decks. You know, a simple amount.
Eyy. I made it in. Oddly enough, earlier the day I posted that I topped locals with P.U.N.K. Gold Pride Fiendsmith.
Muh deck!
🦴Memento best deck🦴
Thank you for your hard work! Your videos are always so entertaining and helpful.🦜🦞🛻
