Match was at 4 UTC, not 3 UTC as mentioned in the video, great video nonetheless! Also 3:43 DT3 was not Scarlet Rose, that was DT4(DT3 being super nuko world)
not even just a match either, this was the best owc. so many upsets, so many up & comers, so many goated performances between malis, mrekk, forum and more, the perfect final match, the best mappool (imo) in a while. can't wait to see the next one already.
had chills the entire match, was so heart broken when South Korea didn't win, but the absolute top tier script writing made up for it. felt honored to watch it live.
Glad i got to see the whole match live! Going from bracket reset to tie breaker ending was grueling and intense!!! Some of the plays set this weekend will undoubtedly go down in Osu history
This Grand Final is on par with Mania 4K 2019 Grand Finals. The 7-5 First match to bracket reset. The 7-6 Second match with tiebreaker deciding it. Both were marathon roller coaster rides featuring the best teams of the time.
@@worst5digit84 for sure, but still got outspeed. Most maps were very exciting and balanced but the picks like DT2 they got destroyed with no chance of fighting back. Their own source of hope was flyingtuna that tried his best to keep the combo to 1.1k but even then the difference was too big already with great combos from the US. After that map tuna clearly got tired because he underperformed every map after it but he still had to keep playing the maps cuz he was believe it or not one of the best speed players from SK. Also the fact that Forum could not play tiebreaker probably because he doesn't have stamina meanwhile the US had people like Vaxei, Rektg, Windowslife and overral a really good rooster for speed. The tiebreaker required a shitload of stamina and consistency and that was the differencemaker.
I’m from USA but honestly was hoping South Korea would win, it’s nice to see that US isn’t just dominating World Cup anymore and it actually is suspenseful knowing that there’s a few teams good enough to win
@@berthenson9946The united states isn't a dynasty because they're significantly more skilled than everybody else all the time every year. They are a dynasty because they are clutch as fuck.
Congratulations USA!. And South Korea for the best performance I have ever seen. They got a year to practice on speed to make things even more interesting 😁. Also thank you to the organisers and mappers. The map pool was crazy good. I want to see more dt val0108 maps next year 😁
@@BUCKikwi I don’t think that will be enough. Even if he somehow became a top speed player by next year, the carry will be less effective with less players. This year, it was a 3v3 (Karcher, Forum, Tuna vs Vaxei, Rektygon, Tekkito). Even if Vaxei leaves this year, US can replace him, and it will be 2v3 next year.
people are going to upset over the USA winning again but you cannot deny that this year was competitive as hell and they not only played their ass off this time but fought tooth and nail for that win. SK's tuna/karcher/hr trio is an obscenely strong core and the rest of the team definitely supported them really well. they put on a good show and at the end of the day, this is for entertainment, so enjoy the competition. vaxei is about to vanish into the shadows for the next who knows how long snce he won owc and does as he pleases, and next year the USA is going to come back with another 3-5 owc rookies and keep it interesting yet again. canada should've been seeded between 4 and 6 man why did twitchcon have to do them like that (it made things interesting though i cant lie)
amazing owc, it doesn't matter that the us won bc it was so close that it was still really interesting! it will also make it more cool when someone does finally beat them
Anyone know why Worst hr Player didn't play the final map for South Korea? He is their most consistent carry. Peresia and Restia both had the most lost combos in the last map by far...
no it wont lol next year is just gonna have usa stomp, probably poland germany usa top 3, since mrekk is burning out, dumii last world cup, and karcher leaving
@cl-pt6cv dumii is very good, he just looked worse because of the fact he had to fill a lot of maps he’s not comfortable on, and mrekk himself said he is burnt out
