According to a Motor trend article on the Muncie 4spd. THe patent was not approved until May 1963. THe 4Spd in a 60'vette was probably a Borg-Warner T10. THe Muncie was directly descended from the T-10.
Harley Earl was okay, but Harley Davidson was better.
