Oh yea ... I remember at our local mall in the food court they had arcade Games including cruise n usa and Tekken and others 😭🔥😔. Those were the good old days
@@SK-my6gh Yes! Finally got my Miyoo Mini a few days ago and it's awesome. I installed the updated Onion OS firmware on it using a new 256GB micro sd card. The 32GB card that comes with it works very well during game play, but it's super slow if you want to transfer or copy files from it. Also, I highly recommend you add the carrying case option when you order the console. The Leather Deck Of Cards carrying case I don't recommend because it's too much of a tight fit and your buttons will be mashed down using that case.
@@SK-my6gh This thing is tiny but the 3 inch screen display is the perfect size! The screen size is the same as on my Anbernic RG300X. I also recommend the Miyoo Mini over the FunKey S. I'm comparing my Miyoo Mini to my Powkiddy A66, love both of these consoles and there are great features coming from them both. The Miyoo Mini does have a 3 inch display while the A66 has a 2 inch display, but they are both very vibrant, decent screens with very thin bezels. The Miyoo Mini is slightly thicker than the A66, but the A66 is slightly wider. Both console are very simplistic when adding games and firmware. Plus you don't have to flash the sd cards to upgrade the firmware, just download the firmware file, copy and place on the SD card (this is for both the Miyoo Mini and the A66)! Since, you don't have to flash the SD card, you could basically just copy and paste all files and content from the original sd card to a new higher capacity sd card and it will work in the console. All games up to PSX work fairly decent on both consoles after the firmware updates. A few games have minor sound glitches when it comes to PSX emulation but it still performs better than most previous retro handheld consoles and even better than some bigger handheld consoles. Other things I love about both these mini consoles is the shiny glass screen display, they both use type-C USB charge cables, the overall beautiful sleek design and build quality. These both look like luxury devices and they have exceeded my expectations!
@@SK-my6gh I love to buy 2nd consoles of the ones I really really like. I definitely plan to buy a second A66, the Trimui Model S brand. I also plan to get a 2nd Miyoo Mini and leave the stock firmware on it with the partial upgrade. One advantage you get with the A66 over the Miyoo Mini, you can have and switch between both the stock and upgraded firmware after upgrading the firmware.
@@jonathonearl482 Thank you for sharing in detail! I’m worried that I might brick the device if I tried to update it, but I am glad it worked out for you.
@@SK-my6gh I've been playing it for a couple of weeks and I like it a lot. I have fairly big hands, but it's not a big deal. The buttons on the back are awkward to use, but most games I've played on there don't really use them anyway. The quality overall is excellent, including the screen and sound. Really happy with it. Was just playing some Super Mario World while waiting for my tires to be changed and it looks and plays perfectly.
@@Ripplin Thank you for the update! The button placement on the back does seem unusual, but it seems like a nice compact model. I appreciate you letting me know.
I own the V2 model. It goes up to PS 1 and emulates them really well. I couldnt believe how well ST3 Third Strike ran on this thing. the only mod i did to mine was add Better rear buttons. Some one on Etsy call Betterbuttons 3D printed easier accessible buttons to play games that need should buttons easier. Worth every penny. This fits in my EDC and i can just pull this out and play games in the wild. I installed Onion OS and never looked back. Well Worth the 75 bucks!
Is this another Chinese emulator? Last time I took your word on a handheld I ended up with a $100 pos that barely worked and the ones that did were either in Chinese or mislabeled.
I waited 2 months for mine. Finally it came yesterday.. It's pretty decent. I have a small corner screen tear. But it's playable.. Some games play. Definitely brings back memories
@@charlielyttle8576 I've watched a few videos on that. I might need to try it. I just don't want to mess it up or miss a step. Definitely worth it tho. Maybe it will put the damn roms in the right emulator if I get Onion
That's not an issue at all, being small is the whole point of this device. It's made to fit in your pocket. If you want something bigger there are better options but i doubt they would fit in your pocket like this one does.
I think you're missing the point here. It's for on the go. Like Gameboy pocket or Gameboy micro. It's perfect for people that are on the go and want to pack something light to be able to play
Just as a warning, the micro sd itself and the reader are both horrible. I would highly recommend getting a quality sd reader if you plan on tinkering with the sd card. And if you can swing a quality micro sd it's worth it. I use a 254gb sandisk with no issues
Thank you Metal Jesus for bringing me here! It's a real pity about the terrible speaker, because, apart from that it looks like a really nice looking unit. But, I will stick with my Vita. The screen size on this is much too small!

Can't believe just like my little sister, John Riggs is an Eddy Gordo guy lol
Spam and win character 😂 I hated when my cousin took him

That game doesn’t leave my ps
That and vf2
I got one finally and it has this same Io, lots off people complained about screen bleed and some random things but mine runs amazing.
Great video! Still waiting for my Miyoo Mini to be delivered.

✌🏼😎👍🏼
Thanks for showing the ps1 games that came preloaded. You are a saint and a scholar!
That has awesome quality for the price!!! Great showing John, thanks
9 games might be a little light, but they seem to have nailed the PS1 emulation!
You can add whatever roms you want though. Just plug the SD card into your computer and drag them over.
Great video John. Cute little gadget, but isn't it hard to play, being that small!!! ?
Definitely gonna put the insides of this in a sega nomad.
Trying to be patient but I can't wait thanks for this video bro
I love the vibes, 50 seconds in I subscribed
How ya feelin??? Feelin good John feelin good!
is there any possibility to add more games in any of those emulators?

Can you add more games?
I used to have a Gameboy. Troy Whittle Marney stole it.
Are you able to save on memory card on ps1 games? On GT1 it says that the memory it’s full, so I’m saving on slot states…

where can i order it? I have already ordered from aliexpres..from 5 different sellers..and then they tell me they're not in stock☹️
Nice review John!
How are you supposed to beat psycho mantis without switching the controller port?
Is this another Chinese emulator? Last time I took your word on a handheld I ended up with a $100 pos that barely worked and the ones that did were either in Chinese or mislabeled.
The games were included already out of the box? Neat
So, which version was that one? The standard 32gb grey? Was wondering if the larger 64 or 128gb ones came with more games?
The 32gb is based on the cheap sd card included. They're prone to failure, so go with the cheapest option and get a quality microSD card to use.
It's more like a 6-8 hour battery actually, idk how but it's a beast!
Do you get free roms in the included SD card?
I hear its quite good, but the screen for me is WAY to small.
Right on John. Thanks for this video.
Great video I wanted to know if Atari games were already in system as I love the old school games
I think you meant 1,900 mAh battery not 19,000 mAh 😂
I think I may have to get one of these.
You can add your own roms right? Just ordered one so I hope so
yes
Does this include bootleg games for NES?
is there a way to add games to these? I'd like to maybe add a few more PS1 games...
That's the reason they include the usb sd card reader ..
I got a 256GB micro SD card for mine so that I could add my library of PSX roms.
That, my dude, is a thing of beauty 😍 Now to hunt one down 🤣
I assume no headphone jack?
Staying up all night to get all the characters unlocked because didn’t own a memory card yet lol
can you plug a USB joystick on this
I even recommend this Miyoo Mini over the Analogue Pocket!
That has a nice screen! Idk about $60, maybe $30 and I'll buy...
