- Still not done with cards from Climax of the Showdown with now some combo lines using our Melffy Spright deck. In comparison with the previous videos, we made some small changes. First to accomandate for Spright Sprind and Double Cross, but also to be banlist complient.
With Sprind we can build even stronger boards and in this video we'll elaborate on two 1 card combo's.
Is this the best version of the deck, probably not though. As discussed in the video, I think a 'pure' Spright list is better and even other Spright variants (Bystial/Spright synchro, Runick/Spright/Fur Hire) may fit better in the current meta. It still is fun though.

Disclaimer for these Basics guides:
1) We will ignore the opponents' hand, unless we need them to do something to show parts of our combo.
2) The searchers specified will be able to kick-start the combo by fetching starters. It is possible we use search cards later in the combo that aren't specified in the searchers at the start.
3) The decklist(s) presented are often the ones used to perform the combo and may not be the most optimal for ladder (neither are the combos on occasion). Feel free to have a discussion in the comments on which cards should be replaced/added. However, there are multiple ways to Rome.
The YuGiOh! Basics Series is a series of videos where we elaborately walk through different combo lines and combo strategies for different decks so you can learn how to win. Aiming to inform beginners of the deck, or just beginners to YuGiOh! in general and we perform these combos in Konami's YuGiOh! Master Duel, even though most combos work fine in the OCG/TCG too. We're hoping that these guides will give you the confidence of playing with a tier 0 deck, even though it is ranked slightly (or vastly) below that and not, as Seto Kaiba had put it, be a third rate duelist with a forth rate deck. Be as Yugi Moto, play, learn and believe in the heart of the cards!

Due to the limits, I'd suggest to replace 1 or both of the limited Nimble Beavers for another Nimble monster (not Angler), so you can still summon two off of Angler sent by Sprind. The Jet you can replace with whatever.

Also if you wanna play competive/ ladder just use catty and pinny and the xyz nothing else
Exactly, you are right! That would be the most meta choice (replace the other Melffy's with the Frog engine). Wouldn't call it Mellfy Spright anymore though 😅
