Thanks so much! The Trenton Punk Rock Flea Market is a local show near us that happens a couple of times a year. It’s always such a fun time, and they have tons of unique stuff to check out! 🤘🙂
KISS PHOTOS!!! I was going crazy over that box. The post card was cool indeed. Great Eddie poster!!! Can’t wait for the next episode. Rock on brother!!!
Thank you! Glad you are enjoying the videos! Hopefully Friday or Saturday I can pump out another one. I have a backlog of content right now I really need to catch up on. 😀👍
Thanks so much! Awesome meeting you as well! It’s been pretty cold lately but there is always good stuff out there year round regardless of the weather! Happy hunting as well! 🙂👍
Barney Fife, That is priceless !!!!!!!!!! He was one of the biggest stars on TV period !!!!!!!!!! And his movies were very funny, He is an icon of early TV Nostalgia.
Thanks a bunch! How cool is that?! Never met Eddie but we do have his guitar pick that he tossed to Debi at a concert we went to in the early 90's! Thanks a bunch for watching! 🤘🙂
Jason , fun video . I wonder what those posters were beside the ZZ Top carnival mirror ? It's funny that I have that same Don Knotts in a 8x10 photo signed by him .
Thank you! That is cool you have a signed photo! I was hyper focused on the ZZ Top carnival mirror and did not check out the posters! haha Thanks for watching! 😀
I went to school with Natasha Lynch. George's first daughter. She is like 11 days older than me. We were friends because we were the only metal heads lol. My brother was friends with his son Sean. Also I went to the last Van Halen concert ever with Sammy.
You find the coolest stuff bro the Barney Fife piece was funny Don Knotts was a funny dude it comes to guitar for me it's... Iomi Ace Jake E Lee I'm not big on the VanHager era poundcake kicks arse though
Thank you! Don Knotts is hilarious! Haha. There’s no denying the Roth era had a lot more bite, but I really enjoy the Sammy era too. Those concerts were incredible-so much fun! Unfortunately, I was a bit too young to catch Dave live. That would have been priceless!
Real Murano glass will always have a polished pontil area on the bottom if that applies to the piece. Yeah, I'm an '80's Rocker who also collects blown glass!
Thanks a bunch! I am always looking for vintage KISS stuff! I was really surprised to pull out that 1977 KISS postcard out of that pile! Thanks for watching! 🤘😀
Cant believe you passed up those photo boxes and negatives!!!! I would have paid double the asking. There are definitely some gems in there. The negatives alone are really expensive.
I thought the vendor said he would take $150 for both boxes of pictures? Probably could have talked him down to $125 for both. That pick would have made a good video for you
He may have and there was definitely some cool stuff in that box! Making decisions on items like that can be tough. Photos are so personal and hold more meaning to the person who was there in that moment, but I get that they also have a lot of value. I probably should have snagged them. I would have felt more comfortable if the price was around $50-$75 without having to go through them. Thanks for watching! 🤘🙂
These guys think they're antique dealers at a flea market. I hate when I find stuff like that only to be given an eBay price. I actually get those 80s rock/metal carnival mirrors cheaper at toy shows because the sellers don't know what they are. I got a 12" Iron Maiden Powerslave one for $10 once
It’s tough to find those for $10 these days-only happens when you’re in the right place at the right time. My best carnival mirror score was a box lot at Alderfer Auction in PA back in the early 2000s. I got 8-10 large ones for just $10! They included Sabbath, Motley Crue, and a few others I can’t quite remember. I ended up selling them all. Thanks for watching!
Two of the best three-piece bands I’ve ever seen live are Rush and, surprisingly, ZZ Top. I was blown away by how many hits ZZ Top had and how full their sound was! I saw them in Tampa with Cheap Trick at the MidFlorida Amphitheater. it was such a fun show! 🤘🙂🍺
@@JasonDymond check out ZZ Tops albums that came out in the 70's if you havent already i LOVE early Cheap Trick too started listening to them when i was in kindergarten after dream police came out and i saw the commercial on tv for it
Thanks! Not too familiar with the 70’s ZZ Top so I will keep my eye out. Love Cheap Trick! I used to live near Robin Zander in Tampa but never ran into him.
Whaaaat?! Haha. They were definitely one of the better hair metal bands of the time-if you want to lump them into that genre. Sure, there was harder stuff out around then, but the In My Dreams video was absolutely killer for its time. Ratt was killer too, with some awesome solos. Jake E. Lee-man, the list just goes on and on. I love all kinds of music, though. My collection has a little something for everyone, from The 13th Floor Elevators to Darkthrone. 🤘😀
@@JasonDymond darkthrones first album was a technical death metal album then by their second album they jumped on the black metal bandwagon 13th floor elevators were CLASSIC as was roky erickson a classic dude i can only handle a few ratt songs i love the first motley crue album and i started listening to kiss when i was 2 years old in 1976 i got dressed to kill on vinyl a few months before i turned 3 theres only a couple songs on bark @ the moon i can handle that totally rock i got that album in 4th grade i'm a MASSIVE vinyl record collector a DJ and a musician
Very cool, my man! I hear you on the first Darkthrone LP. They definitely had a role in shaping the Norwegian scene. I’ve got something cool by them stashed away that I’ll have to dig out one of these days… 🤘🙂
Thanks!
